I had applied to the GMBA course in the first week of September. My application number is 41429-IT. Could you please let me know the status of my application?
I had called up the India liaison office and they told that it will be updated by Friday. I would kindly like to bring to your notice that the evals are scheduled to be held on Sunday October 11th and that would leave very less time to arrange a trip to Mumbai(I am based out of Bangalore.) in case I am shortlisted for evals.
There fore I request you to update my status so that I can make the necessary arrangements for coming to Mumbai.

I have been offered admission to GLSCM and my application no is: 41712 - GLSCM.
I had a few queries regarding the admission offer.

Could you please answer the same:

1) When is course start date for GLSCM - on what date we need to reach Dubai or Singapore campus.

2) Should the fees by paid by way of Demand Draft in USD or AED only.

3) Does fees include meals charges.

I am in the process of filling the online application form but have got stuck in certain things

could you please clarify that do we need to have proper certificates and proof of the achievements we are mentioning in the profile.
i am asking this as i have been quiet active as far as academic and extracurricular activities are concerned during me college days and also have received great appreciation. but might not have proper certificates to prove my achievements. so does having certificates matter.
hence i am getting confused regarding how to go about the achievement part in the form

Any help would be highly appreciated

Academics :
10th - 85 %
12th - 94 %
B.E. - 74 %

Work Exp : 2.5yrs(By apr 2010)

GMAT score : 640/5.0

I have some queries:
1. I would like to no my chances of getting an admission in SP Jain Dubai(May2010 intake).
2. How far a GMAT score ,like mine of 640,will influence or affect the admission process and also what steps shud i take to improve my chances.
3.Apart from GMAT/CAT,aptitude test results are considered by S.P Jain.
I want to know if any special weightage is given to any one among the three tests.

And are they conducting aptitude test outside india as well like in Sin or dubai campuses,if yes what are the dates.

Also when is the first admission test for that intake and what would be the cutoff for the same..
Previously i had applied and had gotten a reject on grounds of lower work ex..

B.Tech - 71% in Computer Science from A reputed private institution..

How are you applying online as we have not yet started accepting applications for the April 2010 intake and admissions for the Nov 09 intake are now closed.

Yes, we will need you to produce original certificates when you are shortlisted (if you are) for evaluations

Your profile seems fine to apply - however I cannot comment on your chances as that would be the decision of the Admissions Committee

Your GMAT score is marginally lower than our cut off of 650. All 3 tests carry eaqual weightage

Hi,

We havent yet fixed the date for the aptitude test as we havent yet opened admissions for the April 2010 intake. The tests is conducted in Dubai and Singapore as well.

Hi,

Your GMAT score is below our cut off of 650 - you will need to submit another score that meets our cut off.

EMBA is meant only for the local residents of Dubai or Singapore

1. I cannot comment on your chances as that would be the decision of the Admisisons Committee.
2.Your GMAT score is below our cut off of 650 and you would have to take the SPJAT
3.We do consider students coming from backgrounds that are different to the specialisation that they are applying for
