I want to pursue a MBA in information management, and since SP jain offers a course suited to IT professionals, would request your kind advise on whether i need to take the SPJAT to to improve my overall profile which is as below:
* Class Xth : 85% * Class XII th: 88% * B.E (Information Technology) * Extracurriculars: Average * Work-Ex o 4 years by September 2009 (out of which 1 Year International Exposure) * GMAT: 680 (AWA 5.0)
Also, I am currently based in the UK. So, request you to please advise if a telephonic interview is possible if i am shortlisted for the interview.

I have applied for Nov'09 intake. However, my profile is in waiting list, I guess as my work experience is less than 2 yrs. I also applied for the April'09 intake and that time too my profile got stuck in the waiting list. Since then, there has been a considerable change in my profile. So, is there any way in which I can bring up this change to the Admissions Committee, as to reconsider my profile.
I applied for the April '09 intake in the month of January '09. However whenever I tried looking for my Application status, i wasn't shown any. Since I will be applying again for the Nov '09 intake, I wanted to know do I need to fill in a new application form again? Please let me know this ASAP. Also my acads are, Xth - 77% XIIth - 67% Graduation (B.E., Deemed Univ. - ECE) - 88% Work Ex - Wipro Technologies (24 months - to date) CAT 2008 - 80 percentile I will be giving GMAT in August and SPJAT in July (if they have any in the month of July) as I guess my CAT score doesn't meet the required cut-off. Good extra curricular activities with national & international presentations during my graduation. Awards and recognitions in my current job.
Please comment on my profile if its good enough to apply for and also about my query on the application form.

Your profile seems fine to apply but I cannot comment on your chances as that would be the decision of the Admissions Committee. You will have to reapply for the Nov 09 intake. You need not take the SPJAT as your CAT score meets our cut off.

Yes you can submit your GMAT score at a later date and we will take the best of the 3.

Wanted to confirm one more thing. How much important is to have good acads in graduation. I am presently working with reputed MNC of IT. Does graduation acads are overseen as a major factor.
Acads are an important criteria for the Admissions Committee while shortlisiting applications. A candidates profile is looked at holistically before taking a decision whether to shortlist him or not

Is it too late to apply for the November 2009 intake at SP jain dubai? I have heard that the chances of being short listed are lesser if one applies late in the admission calender.
If its too late to apply now, i am ok with applying for the april 2010 intake. Could you please advise if i should wait for the April 2010 intake? I would be obliged if you can let me know when the admission process for the April 2010 intake will start.
