Your acads and CAT score are fine - however your workex might be a bit less as we prefer candidates with 2 yrs+ workex

HI Shweta,

I plan to apply to the SP Jain GMBA intake for November 2009.I have a GMAT score of 550 with 4 years of experience in IT. I would like to know trwo things :
1) Should I appear for the SP Jain Test? YES, AS YOUR GMAT SCORE DOES NOT MEET OUR CUT OFF
2) If yes, what is the format of the test and what is the best way to prepare for it? DETAILS REGARDING THE TEST ARE PUT UP ON OUR WEBSITE. YOU MAY REFER TO ANY MBA ENTRANCE TEST BOOKS TO PREPARE FOR THE TEST

Please help me with this information at the earliest.

Hi Rutty,

I had taken the SPJain Evaluation test conducted on 21st june.
But in the aptitude test results document , my Test Roll No varies from what i had in my Hall ticket. Results sheet had the roll no of 43915 , but my hall ticket had a roll no of B CC-758072 .
Just wanted to know whether you have provided new roll no's to everyone or some mistake in my thing ??

Hi,

The percentiles are calculated based on the number of students taking the test. We have not yet fixed the date for the first round of evals

I am Amit and very new to the Pagalguy community, Like everyone else here, I want persue my MBA from one of the top Asian B-schools (prefferably in the APAC region) and therefore i would need your advice.

I have done my research (based on placements, industry interface, fees, exposure, alumni network and Brand recognition) and have shortlisted the following B-schools:

NUS Singapore
SP JAIN - Singapore / Dubai
Hong Kong University

I have so far only appeared for GMAT and have never taken any other MBA entrance exam.

My brief Profile is as follows:

Class Xth : 82%
Class XII th: 89.5%
B.Tech (IIT - Kanpur)
Extracurriculars: Decent (singing and carpentry)
Work-Ex
1. 1 Year & 10 Months in Deloitte Consulting (India)
2. 2 years Accenture (Singapore)
GMAT: 730 / 5.0

I am interested in Finance and Investment Banking (I know some would jump and say why now) I would like to know when is the best time to apply for GMBA at SPJ Sing/Dubai, cause i am a little confused between the Winter (NOV) and the summer (JUNE) batches.

I would also like to know if I should write SPJAT to improve my overall %ile as 730 GMAT is only about 95%ile.

Dear shweta,

I want to pursue a MBA in information management, and since SP jain offers a course suited to IT professionals, would request your kind advise on whether i need to take the SPJAT to to improve my overall profile which is as below:

* Class Xth : 85%
* Class XII th: 88%
* B.E (Information Technology)
* Extracurriculars: Average
* Work-Ex
o 4 years by September 2009 (out of which 1 Year International Exposure)
* GMAT: 680 (AWA 5.0)

Also, I am currently based in the UK. So, request you to please advise if a telephonic interview is possible if i am shortlisted for the interview.

Can I submit my form without any score and give the SPJAT in july,09?

After the score is out , how should I inform you about it ?

Also, When is the test going to be held in July as i cannot see any updates on the website...Where are the updates going to be put up for the test in JULY,09?

Hi,

Yes you can submit your form without a score and thake the SPJAT later.

Once you have a score on you, you need to update us about the same by sending and email to [email protected]
