Hi Shweta, As per the placement details mentioned December 2007-08 graduating batch, it says "Our Retail Management stream students have been fully placed followed by 85% of the Information Technology stream and 80% of the Global Human Resources Management Stream."
but there is no details mentioned for other streams like GLSCM etc. can you please update with the placement data of other streams as well

Hi Shweta, I have taken SP Jain aptitude test last year for dec '08 intake and got 98.7 percentile.Unfortunately i wasn't able to convert the call. Can you let me know if that score will be valid for an application for april 09 session.Or will i need to give my CAt score/take SP JAT again.

hi shweta/rutty do the defer candidate need to pay the 2500$ again for the next intake..or the 2500$ paid this time will suffice that...and the candidate need to pay only the other(fees+acc)..... ...let us know...
I do not understand what exactly you are trying to ask me. What I am saying here is that if someone wanted to register for the test today -it wont be possible because the registrations are now closed. Only those who had registered for the test until 5th Jan 09 and have made the payment for the same can generate the hall ticket and take the exam on 11th Jan09
So i am confused as to what is your exact query - or are you trying to ask me how many seats are available for the GMBA prog? if that is your question then I do not have that no as of now. The batch strength should be between 230-250 for this intake.

I have been called for an EVALUATION to Mumbai for the next session of GMBA dubai/s'pore. Can you please clear what 'Essay/Case Study' is all about!!! My interview is at 2:30 pm and I'm planning to take my flight back to Delhi at 8:00pm. How long will the EVALUATION go? Will I have to go through all 'Essay/Case Study, Group Discussion and Interview' formalities?
The evaluation process takes 6-7 hrs. yes students have to go through ALL the evaluation stages on the same day itself.
8pm might be ok -a bit close but I think you should manage

I had been invited for the SP Jain Dubai interview process and will be attending the interview on 17-18 Jan schedule.
No doubt SP Jain is one of the biggest brand in education and has high industry recognisation. Also the placement statistics are pretty impressive.
but i had few doubts.
1. Is SP Jain a degree program or a certification program.
2. Why is it not accredited by AMBA or ACCSB or any other international body for accredition. Do we have any plans in future for applying for accredition. It is setup by S. P Jain Education FZ LLC was is the significance of this
3. Does the GMBA degree stands valid for courses which requires masters degree qualification as prerequisite such as doctorate and fellow programs.
4. How does an SP Jain Dubai professional identifies himself on his resume. I mean whether as an MBA grad or some one who has just added a suplementary certification to enhance his profile, and how will industry perceive it.
I had these doubts because in the long run when candidacy of a person is considered for a senior position only a established degree can provided him with a thrust . So its very important that a holder of this degree is viewed in par with candidates with degree from IIM's and other prestigious international institution.
I request the SP Jain adcom to enlighten us on the above concerns. This will help us to further strengthen our resolve..
This is Kunal Chopra from India.I am a bit late in the application for April 2009 intake.
Following are my stats:
Work Ex : 3.5+ yrs exclusively in Information Security 10th : 72% 12th : 72% B.Tech : 76% GMAT : 640
Since,the cutoff for GMAT is 650,I wanted to give SPJAT,but I am not sure whether I would be able to give SPJAT now for the Apr 2009 intake.Will there be another SPJAT after 11th JAN?Can I somehow give the 11th JAN SPJAT?
What would you suggest? Shall I apply with the above profile or it is not worth applying with a GMAT of 640.

Well i had received a mail for updating my scores by sending an email or to give SPJAT. I have applied using my CAT 08 registration no. My query is since the CAT scores are out today, do I still need to update with this by sending the email or would the adcom will get the scores?

Ours is not a degree programme as we are not a University but an autonomous institute - At the end of the program graduating students will get a certificate from S P Jain - Dubai/Singapore stating Global Masters in Business Administration (with the specialization mentioned). This may change if we are required to do so to meet with legal requirements in India, UAE and Singapore. However, at the current moment we do not foresee this as likely.
2. Why is it not accredited by AMBA or ACCSB or any other international body for accredition. Do we have any plans in future for applying for accredition.- yes the process is very much underway for applying for these accreditations
