As per the website the next SPJAT is to be held on Jan 11,2008. But FMS entrance exam is also scheduled on the same day. Can you please let me know if there is any possibility of the change of date for the SPJAT?

No, this date change wont be possible. Last time on 7th Dec 08 also our test coincided with the MAT but the date was not changed

hi,
i attended the spjcm mumbai info session..i came to know that spjcm is aiming for amba accreditation and hence planning to select students with min 3 years work-ex, with exceptions in few exceptional cases...is this being implemented as a policy from april'09 intake??

Hello

I appeared for SP Jain Dubai Aptitude Test(got 93%ile) and Submitted my online application after i got the result of the same. My application status says that I've been Shortlisted for the same.
But even after about 3 weeks I have not yet received any Evaluation E-mail regarding the schedule.

What do i do ???
shall i wait....or contact the college..

We are trying to take in students with around 2yrs+ work ex but if there are certain exceptional students with work ex less than 2 yrs who the Admissions Committee finds suitable we would shortlist them

Hi,

The results were declared around the 11th of Dec so how can it b e 3 weks since then - its only 2 weeks. Once we finalize the dates for the next evals we will send you an email.

PLs give me your application no so I can look into the same

I had applied based on my CAT 2007 Score (which I think is better than what I will get this time in CAT). But I am put on waiting list. I had got call for Dec 2008 Intake on the same score earlier.
I want to know whether taking SPJAT will help coz I know the Waiting List Status changes only to "REGRET". Shweta Plz Advise.

I mailed them and confirmed, it seems I missed the mail they sent to me around 15th Dec (maybe it might have gone in the spam mail folder, which gets deleted in a week automatically), but they told me that i ll be called for the evaluation rounds to be held in Jan.
Waiting for that.

I am almost done with the apps.. A small query..

I am planning to apply with CAT 2007 scores as I dont know how much I will get this time around (CAT 200. So my doubt is, once the CAT 2008 results are declared and if I get a better score in it, will i be able to update the apps package to reflect the latest score?

Hi,

It is not necessary that the waiting list only converts to regret. The waitlist will be reviewed from time to time as and when need be and the Admissions Committee will shortlist students who are found suitable. However there is no fixed time frame as to when this happens

If you are shortlist in one intake does not necessarily mean that you will be shortlisted in another intake as our criteria keeps changing from intake to intake.

Yes, you can update us with your CAT 08 score by sending an email to [email protected] and we will do the needful

WHat exactly is your status? if its Waitlist" then it wont change until the Admissions Committee reviews the waitlist. If its showing "Your status will be updated shortly" then pls let me know your application no. and I will look into it
