Hi,
I am applying for the GMBA (April 2009 intake).
I have two question regarding the aptitude scores:
1.Can I apply now although I dont have the scores ? I have appeared for CAT 2008 & the results are expected to be announced in Jan 2009 & since the admissions are on a rolling basis it is possible
that I maynot get a call as the seats may have got filled by that time.
2.I have last years' CAT score but it is just 82%ile .So would you suggest me to go ahead with the applying now with this score or wait for the results of the CAT till Jan ?

you could have gone in for the SPJAT to be conducted on 7th dec... but it's too late now... if your profile is good enough then apply otherwise wait for jan.9th...

Hi Shweta,

I am facing an issue while filling out the online application. The form does not save the data that I have entered in !!! :-x

What is happening with me is that sometimes the data gets saved and sometimes its totally blank; sometimes the data is shown in some tab (like personal information) and when i re-login to confirm, the data is lost :-x
and trust me its irritating to the core :-x...Also when I re-login to edit some fields, the changes made henceforth are not saved and the initially entered data is shown.

Have written to the helpdesk as well ( provided them with the screen shots of the problem) but still nothing has been done.Its been more than 3 days I have written to them:x

This is seriously creating an unnecessary delay in my application submission and I see no help from the folks out there...

The test comprises of maths, Logic, English and GK.It is 1 hr in duration with multiple choice questions.

I suggest you do not waste any more time and pls fill out the hardcopy application and courier the same to our India Liaison Office in Kalbadevi in Mumbai

I am a reapplicant for the April 2009 batch. I had applied for the Dec 2008 batch with SPJAT of 98 &ile; for SMM. I did not get thru so i applied again this time. SUbmitted my online app on 16th Nov 2008, but have no tyet got any call for interview....

Can you pls throw some light as to if I can expect a call or not and if yes, till when?

I'm afraid we do not have any model or sample papers to circulate.
The SPJAT would be like any other MBA entrance test.

Your profile seems fine and the Admissions Committee maybe willing to overlook your GMAT being marginally below the cut off if you are meeting all other criteria.

We have not yet fixed the dates for the 1st round of evaluations

We are in receipt of your application and on screening the same we find you falling short on some of our admission criteria due to which we have kept you on our waiting list. Periodically (there is no specific time frame for doing so - it is done as and when the need for doing so arises) this list is reviewed and students moved to the evaluation process. Please check this website at intervals to ascertain if there has been any change in your admission status.

Hi all & ma'm,

This is for all those who faced problem while filling the online application form. I had faced a similar problem while filling up SPJIMR Mumbai form. Though I am yet to start filling the Dubai/Singapore one, I feel this will solve your problem.

From what I can make out, there is some difference in the word counter algorithm used by SPJIMR compared to MS Word one. So, try reducing a couple of more words and try saving it. It will save without any database errors. Eg:- I had written 49 words for "Work related Achievements" and when I reduced the words to 46, it didnt give me any problem.

Do i stand any chance in getting admission in SPJain, dubai. Please help!!!
