Hi Swetha,

For the evaluation rounds, attested copies of academic certificates alone will do? or Do we need to bring photocopies of certificates pertaining to extra curriculars as well ?? or is it enough to bring the originals?

hi mam,
While filling the application form, at the first page it forces to specify middle name and i dont have one.
I tried and gave spaces in middle name column then also its not accepting.
kindly let me know what should i do.

Just FYI your application was submitted on the 13th of Aug 08 which is just 6 days ago and not 14-15 days ago as stated by you.

I cannot give you any specific cut off date until which we will be calling studnets. It all depends on the Admissions COmmittee.

Hi Rutty,

My Application number is 26326-GLM.
My profile has not been updated yet.
I gotto know about the upcoming evaluation dates ie 30/31st august for those guys who have been shortlisted.
I had filled the form around 14-15 days back and i know it takes some time for the upgradation of profile.
Can u temme till wot date will u call, for the evaluation on 30/31st august?
Is it possible to get a call 3-4 dayz b4 the evaluation dates?

Hi VIP,

I am not at all sure of your percentile, cos it totally depends on no. of students and also their level of aptitude...

If the previous marks can be taken as a benchmark...

u should be around 80%ile

It ll be really good if that happens what you said in the post.. I hope as well it goes by the last trends (which i dont know off) as i am sure you might be knowing more..But would 40 marks to 80 percentile mean that the person who is going to be at top will be in early fifties in percentage?
Please guide me as i think i am little bit more anxios as i have writeen any entrance exam after a gap of 12 yrs..

hi,

The last aptitude test for the Dec 08 intake was held on 17th Aug 08. hence we will not be conducting any more tests for the Dec 08 intake.

You can take the GMAT alternatively.

Hi shweta,

My Project Manager is planning to send me on site for a period of 60 days. i am not really sure when will i be moving. As per talks here this can happen somewhere around 1st week of Sept or last week of August.
so my doubt is, Can I ask the admission committee for a favor that i am interviewed on telephone. I have been shortlisted for second round of evaluation and it is scheduled on 30th August at 2 30 PM slot.
Since I am not sure of my possible departure date, i just want to be proactive in asking you if i have such permission to ask AdCom to have myself telephone interviewed. And also, by when shall i inform the Admission Committee about the my possible physical absence for the second round of evaluation. Please reply at your earliest.

Once you are certain you would not be able to attend you can send an email to Ms Sejal Shah at [email protected] informing her that you would be unable to attend this round of evaluations and to consider you for the next round.

If you are located abroad (except dubai or Singapore) only then will the Admissions Committee consider your request for a telephonic interview.

If you are situated within India then you would have to try and make it for the next round of evaluations - the dates for which havent yet been fixed. As soon as they are we would email you

2. Building relationship with corporates consisting Software giants.

Also the academic background is as :

Mam I would like to mention that there is a overlap between my studies and work experience. Considering this as a special case :

1. I basically request you to tell me if the work done under such a time frame will count as an experience ?
2. Targeting a GMBA in HR, i will like to how far does my profile meet the requirements for this ?

Mam my sincere request is to guide me in making my profile full proof to get an admit into the HR specz.

Also I've appeared for SPJAT and am anticipating positive results.

Well can you explain why your acads and work ex are over lapping?

We usually consider work ex only AFTER completion of graduation as FULL TIME work ex as logically you would not be able to pursue your studies with a full time job.

So i had no other option other then working ! Working along with studies has not hampered my education. I think my case is going to be special and i believe my case can be considered.

I am currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. I cleared the Final Exam in May 2008 and my articleship is due for completion in April 2009.
I would like to know that considering my CA articleship started after my graduation in March 2006, will it be considered as adequate work experience?
I would like to know if I would be eligible to apply for the December 2009 intake and what the deadlines for applications are.

Hi,

A candidates profile is viewed holistically and he must meet ALL criteria before being shortlisted by the Admissions Committee. So merely having a high GMAT/CAT score with work ex does not imply that you would be called for the evaluation. There is a screening process at the application stage as well

Hi,

Yes, we would take your articleship into consideration while assessing your application. Whether it owuld be considered full time or not depends on the Admissions Committee.

Yes you can apply for the Dec 09 intake but currently we are in the Admissions process for the Dec 08 intake and havent yet finalised any dates for the Dec 09 intake. Pls check our website around May 09 for further details reg the Dec 09 intake
