I was going through the thread and read that GMAT cut off is 650. Does that mean people who have 640 GMAT score and a holistic profile would not be considered?
What about candidates who have secured 650 GMAT will their profile be evaluated?
I am sure SPJain considers GMAT score as one of their criteria in evaluating a student profile.
I am kind of nervous here as I have a score of 650/5.0 and my profile regarding work experience is quite good including working in client location for over a year. I am planning to apply in May09 batch.

I have CISA exam on 13 Dec 2008, so was just wondering if I should be taking Singapore or India centre for the exam.

Hi,
Well in certain cases if the GMAT/CAT/SPJAT score is marginally below the cut off and the candidate is outstanding in otehr areas then the Admissions Committee might be willing to overlook the entrance score being slightly below the cut off.
It all depends on the decision of the Admissions Committee. GMAT 650 should be fine as it meets our cut off

I will be giving GMAT in late september so can I submit the application without scores now and later provide you with the GMAT scores before deadline (6 October).
I donot have any CAT or SPJAT scores till now.

So far I haven't received any acknowledgment for the receipt of the DD through mail. Could you kindly let me know the status of the same.

I got mail from SPJIAN for my evaluation date and also i have received acknowledge for the draft send for evaluation.
But on the SPJAIN site , when i login for application status it shows me to your apllication will be updated soon.
Is it ok and will update after evaluation process or it should show like you interview date is ..........
Please reply me asap.

Yes, this is possible but pls remember to give us the GMAT score immediately on the very same day that you take the test as it will be v close to our closing date for admissions

Hi,
Yes, your status would be updated shortly- not to worry. We have sent out the call letter before the status could be updated so that you get enough time to make your travel and other arrangements for the evalns

The SPJAT edition for December 2008 intake is over....
We can apply the same using CAT 2006 or 2007 Scores or GMAT score...

Hello Rutty,
In the "Call letter for evaluation to S P Jain, Dubai-Singapore GMBA Program" it is metioned that to support the work experience, we have to bring the appointment/relieving letters or experience certificates issued by each worked with employer.
For my privious employer, I have relieving letter and experience certificate.
But, for my current employement, I have offer letter and confirmation letter (which was issued 6 months post joining.). Apart from this I have payslips where date of joining is mentioned. I want to confirm weather any of these will suffice or do I need to get a experience certificate?
Please clarify.
