Yes yo ucan go ahead an book your time slot before sending the draft. We only send emails to students who have not sent their drafts by the reqd deadline. You may however call the office or send an email to [email protected] for a confirmation of receipt of your DD

I got a mial from sejal shah saying that I am eligible for second round of evaluation. But, my status is not updated in the website. So should I consider this as a final call for evaluation or should i wait till it is updated in website too? The mail also had a link for scheduling the evaluation date and time. Can I book the time slot before sending the draft for evaluation fee? Will I be getting any confirmation for the recipt of draft and booked time slot?
Yes, not a problem you may take the test inspite of mentioning "no" on your applicatoin. We will consider your score.
FYI the test is on 17th Aug 08 and not 7th Aug

Well, this is the mail that is applicable only to students being evaluated in Dubai. From your prior post I had no information regarding your location.
India students can only take the test on 17th August 08 and will be evaluated only on 30/31 Aug 08.

yes you may apply before taking the GMAT, however we will not shortlist candidates who do not have a score

Well as i mentioned its possible to apply now and keep but thought you should know that applications without scores wont be shortlisted. its uptp you to decide then whether to apply now or apply after the test.

I have checked - you have indeed been shortlisted for the evaluations. However due to some technical difficulty we have been unable to update your status. I have asked our technical dept to look into this and we shall shortly be updating your status online as well

Most welcome Piyush. More than happy to sort everyone's queries on this forum.
FYI we do not shortlist candidates without a score. So if students have applied before the test we will review their applications once the results of the SPJAT are declared and the same are updated on the applications. Some students may apply after the test results are declared and would automatically mention their score on the application

I cannot comment on the exct validity of the test as this keeps changing from intake to intake.
As of now the test scores are valid for a year

It has been clearly mentioned on the call letter that it takes about 10 days after your evaluation for your status to be updated on the website
