I have got 38.75 marks and remember that 63 were total attempts shown at the end of exam. everything behind except, if I look at pair of my number of (correct,incorrect)attempts, they dont add up to 63 attempts. score 38.75 will be when 39 correct,1 incorrect (40attempts in total). Similarly, others (40,5)=(45), (41,9)=(50), (42,13)=(55), (43,17)=(60), (44,21)=65. Correct to incorrect ratio does fit in the scheme of things.
[SUMMARY]At best the vague guess is they might have lost the match of candidate ID and computer ID. Randomly, they have given the scores. This also fits their response that recheck has not changed anything. Incorrect matches may be the root of all the scenarios we have thrown up till now like more marks than attempts. Results are botched up for many but can't say all.
Do we know who was the online partner/tech company in conducting the exam?
Good Morning to everyone! Well this is kinda a long post so please have patience to read :)
Well after so much turmoil over last few days over SNAP results, I have few things to say to all who got below expectations and also who got above expecatations.
I am also SNAP aspirant just like you guys and when i used to check reviews about any of the symbiosis colleges on online portals, all were like SIBM and SCMHRD best in the race and target only these two. Not only these i have seen people confident about getting 99+ percentile a month before SNAP too. 99% of all have written so good things about SIU and about its increasing values and i am quite sure everyone has spread same among friends too.
But when result was declared, i myself checked result after 2 hours or so and was genuinly checking all discussions on online portals regarding result and i was literally shocked about things. People were and still are harassing SIU about results and deviation of so so marks from expected scores. Suddenly i also started noticing that people are commenting about all things which are bad about SIBM and SCMHRD and how they are doing business about education.
Fist of all, why such sudden change in thinking? I was amused but later when i analysed things i tried to figure out conclusion. People are themselves expecting and also already knew that SIU will do nothing about it(Self contradicting). Our generation is assumed for rich & diverse thinking process and we always curse/make fun of old generation for their poor way of thinking(e.g.padmavati matter and many more) Aren't we on the same line as well? Evem everyone knows here that SIU will not do anything as any major stepback will result in loss of reputation of their university. So all those who are shouting for justice, why do you caring so much about SIU colleges? There are tons of other choices still available over the next few months. Scenarios could be acceptable if it would have been IIM cases but totally out of box for SIU. And about RTI thing, well i genuily think if people work so hard like this in other choices of exam they will surely fly with bright colours. Those who think that they have been evaluated incorrectly just go ahead, mail them, do complete RTI, even twitter thing is also fine, if they are so sure and move ahead with next phase. Why revoking same things again and again here? And cursing SIU again and again? Do you really think they even care about our feedback after all of this issue?
Secondly dont you think all coaching institutes rather should face this rage. First of all mocks of every coaching institutes are below expectations(for Non CAT exams) and we all have to run behind alternate options,wasting more money. And upon that we do remember every class cutoff expectation and all after exam, what happened to it? 66-68/70+ for SIBM? LOL? Even average guy knew what will be cutoff for SIBM, isnt it? Why dont we outrage such hyped insttitutes? For how many years they will run away from our focus saying these exams are always unpredicatble after investing 4-5K in mocks and crash courses?
All i want to say is we have learnt from our mistake,right? So rather than repeating it again, lets focus on avoiding it next time. I am not indicating that what you people doing are wrong but dont you think we should have limit for such thing? Karma will hit all those who have been given advantages. Thats how life works. When you will get success in other exams, do email SIU your scorecard in bulk which will justify you. That will be sweet revenge for all.
And for all those who have been hit hard by result, raise your voice for sure and move on as fast as you can. Life will not end if you do not get SIU, rather than [wasting 20-25 Lakhs in SIU](This line i have copied from one of the post in this thread) it is better getting wasted 4-5K(0.2% loss as compared to fees) in application. Rather shout for such coaching institute for wasting 4-5K in unexpected mocks and material if you think so.
Dont let your new year energy shade away because of such things. I am sure 2018 will be THE YEAR for you. :)
P.S.- I got 50%ile as well for all those who gonna fire me. And emailed them(SIU) too.

Since some people have already initiated RTI weapon attacks, I think i would like to share some information related to it. Hope this will be helpful.(source: Official copy of RTI act 2005).
First of all, Right to information act 2005 is provision to obtain information from and not to complain against. So keep in mind that, output will be what you have seen already but just in officially stamped format. Next main thing is, RTI does not apply to private universities directly as they are not covered under RTI. So you cannot file RTI against SIU directly but at the same time it does not exempt them completely. You can file an RTI application for information to the government authority under which it is registered or to the government department which controls it. For SIU, It has been given official recognition by the UGC and the AICTE. So you can file RTI against UGC or AICTE mentioning SIU with government format and a small fee. As per RTI act 2005 section 2 (h)you can initiate RTI against public authority -
"public authority" means any authority or body or institution of self- government established or constituted— (a) by or under the Constitution; (b) by any other law made by Parliament; (c) by any other law made by State Legislature; (d) by notification issued or order made by the appropriate Government, , and includes any—
(i) body owned, controlled or substantially financed;
(ii) non‑Government Organisation substantially financed, directly or indirectly by funds provided by the appropriate Government;
Regarding SIU, we can drop them mail or send letter regarding whatever issue we are facing and they will reply. Nothing can happen beyond that. That reply can be used in future for any process of RTI.
