S/N=A
(S+6)/N=A+1/4
N=24
@adwaitjw Yeah! How???
I don't know why majority of the people only reply with the final answer and not the solution!!!
@IIMAIM Yeh 6 kaha se aaya???

6=n*1/4
n=24

:embarrassed: Actually wanted to knw if its correct first..

Total increase in weight of class is 6 kg.
Increase in 6 kg results in quarter kg increase in avg. So for increase by one Kg avg weight total increase should be 24 kg.
i.e. one Kg increase per student will increase avg by 1 kg.
So 24 students.. :)

sum increased by 6 = (58-54) +(64-62)

Difference in weights of the two men=25*2=50
50=x-25
x=75

Oh let the total age of 24 persons be "y" so the total age of the 25 persons will be
(y+25)
and now average age will be
(y+25)/25= K (average age of 25 persons)----------------------A

now a new person is placed replacing 25 year old person
so
(y+x)/25= (K+2) (as new averge increases by 2)-----------------------------B

solve the the equation A n B and get the value of x which is the age of newly aded person

LET X1+X2+..X25/25=Y(AVG)
((X1+X2+..X25)-25+A)/25=Y+2,
Y-(25-A)/25=Y+2,
solving A=75
