@Estallar12answer is 4 (even in numbers u have got last two digits are 4 for all ) but still m not able too understand the solution.can u elaborate ?
Yeah. Got confused with the Language of the Question. It will be 4.
@Estallar12 Can we reach at answer logically ? If yes,then how ?

Two different solutions of honey, milk and water are mixed with each other three times in varying proportions. The concentration of honey and milk in the three resulting solutions are found to be (10%, 16%), (12%, 12%) and (16%, x%) respectively. What is the value of x?
(a) 4 (b) 7 (c) 8 (d) 10

Plz answer along with explanation.
I have posted this many times before.some one please answer

A teacher wanted to adminster a multiple choice(each question having six choices) based quiz of high difficulty level to a class of sixty students.The quiz had sixty questions.The probability of selecting the correct answer for a good and brilliant student was 0.2 and 0.25 respectively.All the students were seated serially in 10 rows and 6 columns.

q) three good students were seated next to each other.What is the probability of them having the same incorrect choice for four consecutive questions ?

i did it like

to get one incorrect answer, probabilty is 1/5

so all INCORRECT for one student is 1/5*1/5*1/5*1/5

so overall for 3 students (1/5*1/5*1/5*1/5)^3 but it is not in options.where did i go wrong ?

answer is 4/3125

Let percentage of Honey and Milk be y and z in one AND n and m in the other.

Using 10, 16 and 12,12 Solutions -
=> (y - 10)/(10 - n) = (z - 16)/(16 - m)
=> 16y - 160 + 10m - ym = 10z - 160 - nz + 16n
=> ym - nz = 16y - 10z + 10m - 16n

Make similar equations taking pairs of other solutions.

Overall we will get,
=> y - n / m - z = 1/2
and, y - n / m - z = 4/(12 - x)

Thus, 4/(12 - x ) = 1/2
Thus, X = 4. [Option A]

I have not seen the whole explanation. but the question says probability of getting correct answer is 0.2=1/5, getting wrong should then be = 1-0.2=0.8=4/5 right?

At 2 PM, Angle will be 2*30 = 60 Degrees.

Now, Hour Hand covers 30 Degrees in 60 minutes.
So, 1/2 Degree per minute.

Also, Minute hand covers 360 degrees in 60 minutes.
So, 6 degrees per minute.

Relative Degrees covered = 6 - 1/2 = 11/2 Degrees a minute.

11m/2 = 60.
=> m = 120/11 minutes.

Now, At 2 PM, angle = 60 degrees.
So, after 2*(120/11) = 240/11 minutes, it will again be 60 degrees.

It will be only ONE pair PT.

@Estallar12 yup...got tht
@cynara The line "probability of getting SAME incorrect question" confused me.yes probability of getting correct answer is 1/5,but then we can't say probaility of incorrect would be 0.8 because it is asking for probability of same incorrect . That's waht i understood i may be wrong.

but please if u get the solution do share it,i desperately want the answer.thanks in advance.
@ASR2013 ..is it 240/11 min past 2'o clock..??

I have posted this before also,but want to know if answer can be arrived at logically ?The last two digits of N, a square of a natural number are both equal to x and x is not equal to 0.The last digit x must be a 1b 4c 6d can not be determined
squares of all numbers of the form (50k-12) and (50k+12) end in 44...

@Logrhythm what if square of some other number ends in say 55 or 66 ? for eg i know square of any number can not end with 3 or 8.similary can i refute for other numbers also ?
