The price of diamond varies accordingly to the square of its weight . the price of gold is directly proportional to its weight . three rings of equal weights are composed of a diamond , set in gold , have respective values of A, B And C . The diamonds in them weigh 3,4,5 respectively . What is he value of diamond of 1 gram ?
Value = [ (A + C)/2 - B ]

Four man start a job. after each day a man leaves. The xth man who leaves work at X units per day. The job is compleed when the last man leaves . what part of the total wages will the last man gets.

The prime cost of an article was 3 time the value of materials used . The cost of raw materials in the ratio 3:7 and that of productive wages in the ratio 4:9 . Find the prime cost of an article which was formerly made for 41 ?
What is this ??

Cost of Raw Material in the Ratio ?? What Raw Material Ratio ?
Same for Productive Wages. Ratio given is not clear.

The square of A varies directly as the cube of B . B varies directly as the square root of C . The value of Cis 81 when A is 4 . Find the value when A is 3 ?

M1 = 1 Unit.
M2 = 2*2 = 4 Units.
M3 = 3*3 = 9 Units.
M4 = 4*4 = 16 Units.

Total Units of Work = 30.
Part that M4 does = 16/30 = 8/15.

The square of A varies directly as the cube of B . B varies directly as the square root of C . The value of Cis 81 when A is 4 . Find the value when A is 3 ?
A^2 = k B^3
B = m (C)^1/2

When A = 4 and C = 81, B = 9m.
=> A^2 = k * (9m)^3
=> 16 = k * 729m^3
Thus, k m^3 = 16/729

Now, A^2 = k * B^3 = k * m^3 * C^3/2
Thus, when A = 3, C^3/2 = 9*729/16 = 3^6/2^4
=> C = 3^4/16^2/3
