2 + 4/2 = 3
3 + 5/2 = 4
4 - 3 = 1

The cost of an article (which is composed of raw materials and wages) was 3 times the value of the raw material used. The cost of raw materials increased in the ratio 3:7 and wages increased in the ratio 4:9. Find the present cost of the article if its original cost was Rs. 18.
1)
Rs. 41
2) Rs. 30

3)
Rs. 40

4) Rs. 46

Avessel contains a litres of wine and another vessel contains b litres of water. c litres are taken out of each vessel and transferred to the other if c x (a+b)=ab. If A and B are the respective values of the amount of wine remaining in the two containers after this operation, what can be said about the relationship between A and B?1) A=B2) (A-c)/(B-c) >23) A-B=4c4) None of thesePlz give answer alongwith explanation.
OA : D) None of these

CP= W+RM (W=wage ; RM = Raw Material)
RM=a
CP=3a
W=2a
3a=18 ; a=6
RM= 6
3/7=6/X
where X is the new cost ; X =14
4/9 = 12/Y
Where Y is the new wage ; Y=27
CP = 27+14 = 41

cost of article = 18
cost of RM = 18/3 = 6
cost of wages = 12
3/7*x = 6
x = 14
4/9*y = 12
y = 27
present cost = 14 + 27 = 41
ABC is a right angled isosceles triangle with angle B being 90. If D is a pont on AB so that angle DCB = 15 and AD = 35cm, find the length of CD.

DCB is 45 degree as you mentioned that ABC is isoceles right angled triangle.
It should be DBC equal to 15 degree.
In that case CD is 35(2- root(3)).

hw it cud be possible if angle b is 90 degree

D lies on AB , as per the question.
that means ADB is a straight line.
