plz helpif the ratio of sines of angles of a triangle is 1:1:sqrt(2) then the ratio of square of the greatest side to sum of of the squares of the other two side is??
1:1?

sides of triangle = 1:1:rt2

The last two digits of N, a square of a natural number are both equal to x and x is not equal to 0.

The last digit x must be
a 1
b 4
c 6
d can not be determined

A undertook a work to complete in 60 days. but just after 20 days he observed that only 1/5 of the project had been completed. to complete the work in the rest days min how many workers he had to increase if there were initially 75 workers were deployed for the work?
remaining work is 4/5 that means 4 times the intial work done
so
4 *75* 20 = x * 40
x is number of workers working for next 40 days
x =150
additional men =150 -75 =75

ans) b.4? cos only 4 is the last two digit when you square certain numbers like 12,38 etc
@iLoveTorres

Yes it is 4 but can you elaborate? Is there a certain logic to it or we would have to check by using numbers? I tried using (10m+n)^2 etc but couldn't reach at answer.

2 points needed to draw a chord...hence select 2 points out of these 21 -> 21c2

@Logrhythm I was not able to understand this question - can't visualize it. Could you please explain the funda further? thanks.

Or do like this,

take a point draw 20 chords to other points and discard it,
take a another and draw 19 chords discard.. Do until u left with two points where we can draw one chord.
total no. of unique chords obtained -->20+19+18+...+2+1 =210 =21C2

buddy this is question of combination...

here you have to select two points from 21..
let the points be A B C D E... so on upto 21 points..
now you ca select two points as AB , AC AD.... , BC , BD...CD , CE..( here AB and BA will be same , thats why it is COMBINATION)
SO USE THE COMBINATIIN FORMULA..nCr
n=21 , and r=2( because we have to detemine chords , had the q been that how many squares you can draw , R would have been 4).
so solve 21C2..and get the ans
ie 210
@albiesriram like a handshake.. thanks man.

another for you..

how many triangles can be drawn using with 14 points?
2-- How many number plates of 3 digit can be made using 4 digits 1 2 3 4?

@Ani1308 - 1- 364.
2. what does four digits mean? any four digits?
@veertamizhan for the second question - 24?
