Like someone mentioned before, 376 ^ 2 =141376 too !!
bhai haan...ye question kal address karna bhool gya tha mein...nice observation waise, i dnt knw why din't i consider 6 (discarded it thinking that the tens digit wld be odd, like that wld matter here lol)....but i actually got lucky with the question....
it said (abc)^2 = ijkabc
ijk means different digits....376^2 mein i=k....so invalid ho jaata...

@naveenkrs bhai aapne raise kara tha na...

37c2 - (13c2 + 11c2) ??

Close. Just think little more.....

Anjali and Bhagwat fired 45 shots each.Total of 66 bullets hit the target and the remaining bullets missed it. How many times does Anjali hit the target if it is known that the number of hits per one miss shown by Anjali is twice that of Bhagwat ?

nowhere in the question it was written that i=k is invalid

In a plane There are 37 straight Lines, Of which 13 pass through the point A and 11 pass through the point B . Besides , No three lines pass through both points A and B, No two are parallel then the number of intersection points the lines have is equal to??
37c2 - (13c2 + 11c2) + 2 ??

I dont know the logic.Got it from Varun Sir.....(i.e. @varun.tyagi )Give all your respects to him...In the xy-plane, if points (5, 2), (2, 5), and (-2, -5) are the vertex of a parallelogram, how many such parallelograms are possible?(A) 1(B) 2(C) 3(D) 4(E) 6
use the property that midpoint of the line joining opposite vertex should coincide, take the vertex pairwise only 3 pairs are possible, so 3 should be the answer

a/45 = 2* b / 45 ; a+b = 90-66 = 24 ==> a=2b ==> 3b=24 => b=8 ==> a= 16.anjali hit 45-16 = 29 shots??
Sorry, Its not the correct answer.

A palindromic number with even number of digits in base 16 will always be divisible by?
(a)2
(b)17
(c)15
(d)7

Hits by Anjali=a
Misses by Anjali=b
Hits by Bhagwat=c
Misses by Bhagwat=d

a+b=45
c+d=45
a+c=66
b+d=24

a/b=2*(c/d)

Solve now...

a=36

yes 17
z=1^2-2^2 +3^2.............-2998^2+2999^2

a) 2999000
b)5998000
c)4498500
d)2249250

let anjali hit a no of bullets and missed m1 bullets
and bhagwat hit b no of bullets and missed m2
now a+m1=45
b+m2=45
a+b=66
=>m1=45-a
m2=a-21
a/m1=2b/m2
substitute the values of m1,m2,b
you will get a=36 and 215
but a,b
so a=36
