Harsha makes a fixed deposit of Rs 20000 with the bank of india for a period of 3 years .If the rate of interest be 13% SI per annum charged half yearly ,what amount will he get after 42 months??
Why 42 months when said for 3 years?
13% SI per annum half yearly does not make sense
@ani6 y pooja888 is right is it for 3 years or 42 months is not clear for three years it will be 27800 for 42 months 29100 right na ???
@pooja888
@The_Loser its OKayyyy yaar
@raopradeep nhi bhai... 4160 is OA...

2(a+b)a+b
a+b+c=129 where c>=0 and a,b>=1
129C2 solutions

Now if (a,b) is a solution, (b,a) is also a solution.

So ans= (129C2-64)/2 +64=4160

bhai tune wo cases v consider kar liye jisme b> L
@hatemonger right 29100...how did you solve

Two quadratic equations's have one common root. co-efficient of x^2 for both is 1. Sum of common root and two other roots of these equations is 3 and product of common root and two other roots is 12. Then common root is:

1. 1
2. -1
3. -2
4. 6
5. 2

@ani6
U calculate SI for one year that is
20000*13*1/100=2600 ok???
for 3 year 2600*3=7800
so for hal year interest is 1300 total =7800+1300=9100

@TootaHuaDil The sum of the present ages of a father and his son is 99 years. When the father was as old as his
son is now, his age was four times the age of the son at that time. The ratio of the present ages of
the son and the father is????

let present father's age be F and Sons age be S
Now let when some time ago son's age was K then at that time father's age will be 4k so difference btw their age at that time 3K,(also 4k=S);
now difference will always remain the same,
so F-S=3K,..(k=S/4)
F-S=3(S/4)
so S/F=4/7.:)
@hatemonger For three years also we have to consider half yearly??

@ani6 no no first just simply calculate for 3 years using 13% ... for half year just divide si for one year by 2
how many distinct rectangles of perimeter not more than 258 cm can have both length and breadth as positive integers when expressed in cms ??

2(l+b)
l+b

(1).. when l+b= 129
(L,b) are as follows
(128,1), (127,2),(126,3),......... (65,64)
=> total 64 values

(2).. when l+b=128
.
127,1), (126,2),(125,3),......... (64,64)
=> total 64 values
.
(3)..when l+b= 127
(L,b) are as follows
(126,1), (125,2),(124,3),......... (64,63)
=> total 63 values
.
(3)..when l+b= 126
(L,b) are as follows
(125,1), (124,2),(123,3),......... (63,63)
=> total 63 values

.
....
...
...
finally when l+b= 3
(2,1)
=> 1 value
and
when l+b= 2
(1,1)
=> 1 value
.
total= 64+64+63+63+62+62+........1+1
=> 2(64+63+62+........+1)
=>2*64*65/2

bhai , explain this why you subtracted 64 then added it again..

64 is for the cases where a=b
@hatemonger thanks again

@bs0409
is it 1?
@swapnil4ever2u Aimcat question????
