Suppose L be length of circle
The time taken to meet first time=L/6V

L/6v=2
L/v=12

They meet at one point..Now time taken to meet for second time=L/3v

Lets find the probability that a triangle will form

Suppose initially the stick is broken into two parts (one of length 'x' and '1 - x')

When x > 1 - x
=> x > 1/2
Now x is further divided into 4x/7 and 3x/7
1 - x > 4x/7 - 3x/7
1 - x > x/7
x

When 1 - x > x
=> x
Now 1 - x is further divided into 3(1 - x)/7 and 4(1 - x)/7
x > 4(1 - x)/7 - 3(1 - x)/7
=> x > 1/8

So, probability = (7/8 - 1/8)/1 = 3/4

So, probability that a triangle will not form = 1 - 3/4 = 1/4

lets say the family used to buy x kgs early

so price per kg = 180/x
now this increases by 20% = 180/1.2x = 150/x

180/x-180/1.2x = 1
x = 30

= 1 + (1/√2)(Sink + Cosk) + √2(Cosk + Sink)

Max = 1 + (√2)(1/√2) + (√2)(√2) = 4
