Two numbers are chosen randomly from the interval [0, 1]. What is the probability that they differ by more than their average?
|a - b| > (a + b)/2
When a > b, a > 3b
and when b > a, b > 3a

Plot it on the graph

Probability = 2*(1/2)*1*(1/3)/(1*1) = 1/3

In a triangle ABC, sides are a, b, c such that a³ + b³ + c³ = 3abc. Find the measure of angle A
a) 30º
b) 45º
c) 60º
d) 90º

is it 60..becuase if i replace a wid b or b wid c or c wid a ,,equation gonna remain same..so a b c shud be equal..so 60 degrees

(A+B+C)(A^2+B^2+C^2-AB-BC-CA)=0
(A^2+B^2+C^2-AB-BC-CA)=0 as A=B=C=!0
WHICH IS POSSIBLE FOR A=B=C
C) 60

When a³ + b³ + c³ = 3abc,
either, a+b+c=0 (not possible in this case)
or, a^2+b^2+c^2-ab-bc-ca=0

==> a=b=c

so, 60?

_/\_ Saar you're most welcome 😃 😁 :D
Aaj kaise darshan de diye? :splat:

Q. While Passing through a jungle, Fahim and nishant meet a lion. The lion jumps to attack
and also fahim and nishat aim at the lion. The probability of the lion catching its target is 0.25 and prob of nishat hitting is 0.33 & farhan is 0.5. If the lion is hit, what is the probability that it is hit by nishat and not fahim.
A.1/4
B.5/6
C.1/2
D.2/3

A. 1/4?

Lion is hit.
Nishat hits the target 1 out of 3 times.
Fahim hits the target 1 out of 2 times.
prob. of both hitting = 0.33*0.5
prob. of N hitting and F missing = 0.33*0.5
prob. of F hitting and N missing = 0.67*0.5

required probability = (0.33*0.5) / (0.33*0.5 + 0.33*0.5 + 0.67*0.5)
= (0.33*0.5)/(1.33*0.5)
= 1/4

2*a^2+2*b^2+2*c^2-2ab-2bc-2ca=0
(a-b)^2+(b-c)^2+(c-a)^2=0
a=b=c

30 * 8 * 104 = 2/5 * total work -- (1)
26 * 9 * (104+x) = 3/5* total work-- (2)

Solving the above 2 equations, we get that x=56
Please correct me if i am wrong
