bro whats your approach..?
3982 = 1991*2
So clearly first term is divisible ==> remainder 0
second term 1992^3 = 2*996*1992^2
cancel 2 from numerator and denominator..
we now want (996*1992^2)mod 1991 = 992
since we removed 2, now multiply by 2
remainder = 996*2 = 1992 :)

Suppose your credit cars charges 16% interest(compound) per year, but you have to pay the interest due monthly. What is the annual percentage rate?
@audiq7 said:
17.817.218.418.8
17.2?

16/12 = 4/3

((100 + 4/3) / 100)^12 - 1 * 100 = 17.227% (used calculator)

@audiq7

50 movies ?, I'll share my approach, plz confirm !

@audiq7 said:
5000*5/500 = 50 :)

1st consider same 500 people seeing movie 1,2,3,4,5

Next another 500 batch watching 6,7,8,9,10

No. of people must sum to 5000

PQ is a diameter of circle and R is any point on the circumference of the circle. If "S" and "A" are the perimeter and area of the triangle, respectively then which of the following is true.

1) A and S is maximum if triangle PQR is isosceles.
2) A and S is minimum if triangle PQR is isosceles.
3) A is maximum and S is minimum if triangle PQR is isosceles.
4) A is minimum and S is maximum if triangle PQR is isosceles.

take 8,6,10 as sides of a triangle non-iso
A= 24, S=24

take iso - root50,root50,10
A=25, S=2root50+10

For Iso Triangle A is max. sure, as ht. is max area= 1/2*b*h, but don't know abt. S
How you guyz found out abt. s ?

what is the highest power of x to yield an integral ans for 167!/(24!)^x?
