539..

2pi*r = 22
r= 7/2
cube side = 7

height of pyramid = 12.5^2 - 3.5^2 = 12
volume = 1/3*7*7*12 = 196

so total 343+196 = 539

got the same.

Two persons are travelling in the same direction but on either side a tower. They noticed that the
angle of depression made by a man at the top of the tower is 30° and 60°. After
6 minutes, the two persons noticed that the angle of depression made by the man at the top of the
tower is 45° for each of them. If the height of the tower is 6 metres, find the distance (in metres) that
the slower person will travel in 15 minutes, travelling with the same speed?
A. 30( rt3 − 2) B. 5( rt3 −1) C. 5 3 (rt 3 −1) D. None of these

@sujamait bhai a upon c hai

10.5....?

i think the expr for which we need to find the value of is:
"ac + bd + {a/c}" and not "(ac+bd+a)/c"(as i thought initially)

1.5 t mins? I don't think that can happen..

After some random manipulation, I pinned the question as (ac+ bd) + (a/c)
and NOT (ac +bd+a)/(c) :|

Anyways, (a + b)*(c+d) = 10 => ab + ad + bc + bd = 10 => ac + bd = 8

Now, ac + bd + (a/c) = 8 + (a/c) = 8 + (1/cd)

a = 1/d, b = 1/c
=> 1/c + 1/d = 5 => cd = 2/5

=> Ans = 8 + 5/2 = 10.5 ?
