yup yehi nhi pata chal rh a..IIFT 10 me ..Time k bekar solution he,,,if anyone has CL soln or TF
Bhai ekdum mast solution mila hai, agar isko nahi samajh sakte to sab padhai bekar hai

Source CL:

let

log 5 (2) = P
2 = 5^P

This is only possible if P is irrational ..

samjh gaye naa :)

welcome back :)
kaise kiya?
@sonamaries7 y irrational appraoch batao,,ek ek step
@scrabbler log 2 to base 5 is rational / irrational ?

log(5) 2 [ log 2 to the base 5} isprime norational noirrational nointeger
Irrational

Let log(5) 2 be rational -> log(5) 2 = p/q .. q
0 , p,q belong to integers

=> 2^q = 5^p => Not possible as LHS is even and RHS is odd for p,q as integers

=> log(5) 2 is irrational

instinct :P

0.301^2 /( 1-0.301)^2

so, irrational ?

Nope, we can't conclude it like that... log 2 is not perfectly 0.301

In fact 0.301 is rational => 301/1000

Irrational. Let it be x, then 5^x = 2 which cannot happen for any rational x as 5 and 2 are not related in any way multiplicatively...

A contractor did not have space in his garage for 8 of his trucks. He, therefore, increased the size of his garage by 50% which gave him space for 8 more trucks than he owned altogether. How many trucks did he own?

32 are the trucks for which space is available. 8 more are to be arranged.
