Hi Puys I need to clear a funda.
If we are asked to find number of zeros of a number such as 10^3 we take log in base 10 and answer comes out as 3 .fine . so 3 . But if we are asked to find number of zeroes after the decimal point till a non zero number appears of the number 10^-3 , after taking log we get -3 . but we know that there are 2 zeros after decimal . here is my doubt . When should we take the value as it is and when we should subtract 1 .
The number of zeros between the decimal point and the first non zero digit in (1/6)^216, given that log 2 = 0.3010 and log 3 = 0.477 is167/168/169/170 ?
Please solve this and explain the funda,
