Ram speaks truth 3/4 of the time, lies 1/4

Sita speaks truth 3/5, lies 2/5.

So both speak truth 3/4 * 3/5 = 9/20 of the time and both lie 1/4 *2/5 = 2/20 of the time. Total 11/20 they agree, so 9/20 times they contradict. Out of this 1/3rd cases i.e. 3/20 times they bicker so remaining 17/20 times i.e. 85% they do not bicker.

sir bold part jara explain karo . rolleyes

@Zeron

closest to 48 kg100x+200y=600we have to minimise liq b contents (too costly)12y/10x=1/3==> x=3.6y==>y=6/5.6 for our optimal solutionand weight= 10X+12y=48y=48*6/5.6 which is closest to 48 kg

51 kg should be the answer.

A group of people were analysed on three qualities - health, wealth and wisdom. It was found that 139 people were either healthy or wise but not wealthy. 23 people were neither healthy, wealthy and wise. 208 people were wealthy.If 199 residents have at least two of the three qualities then how many residents have exactly one quality?

Please post the approach as well ..

let a,c ,d represent only healthy,only wise ,only wealthy respectively
b,e,d represent healthy union wise not wealthy, healthy union wealthy not wise,wise union wealthy not healthy respectively
x represent healthy wealthy and wise
a+b+c=139
b+e+x+23=199
b+e+x=176
d= 185-176+b=9+b
now a+c+9+b=139+9=148

Dear friends

Dear Ankur, Quality of coaching classes differ across cities and moreover, This is not the right thread to ask about coaching. Please enroute ur queries to Prep thread. There u can find some experts to answer your question.:P
