Raju has 128 boxes with him. He has to put atleast 120 oranges in one box and 144 at the most. Find the least number of boxes which will have the same number of oranges.1. 5 2. 103 3. 6 4. Cannot be determined
6 ?

128 mod 25 = 3
So 5 + 1 = 6..

A person can buy 20 sparrows for a rupee, a pigeon for a rupee, and a peacock for Rs. 5. Find the number of birds of each type he needs to buy if he wants to buy total 100 birds for Rs. 100 so that he buys at least one bird of each type.ans is 19 peacock=95rs+80 sparrows=4 rs+ 1 pigeon=1 rs.is there any mathematical approach for these kindaa questions if we pile up the data???
Cost of 1 sparrow=Rs 1/20
Cost of 1 pigeon=Re 1
Cost of 1 peacock=Rs 5
Let each of them is x,y,z respectively
So, x+y+z=100
And, x/20 + y+5z=100
=>x has to be a multiple of 20(20,40,80)
At x=80 both condition satisfies.
x=80,y=1,z=19

103 ?
Fill 120 balls in first 103 boxes and rest in increasing number of balls like
104 th box with 121 orange
105th box with 122 orange
...
...
128th box with 144 orange

Sir inhone case lia hai..where A'B = B'C = 50m How to prove that this is possible?
I could nut understand the solution , here is what I did , after seeing the solution

Assume they are present in the fashion as shown in the attachment

Now as they travel same distance
X = 200+Y --------1
d^2 = (300-x-y)^2 + 200^2 ------2

from 1&2 we will get y=50
x=250

then d will be 200

103 Boxes.

Fill 120, 121, 122 ... 144 oranges in first 25 boxes. Now Raju will have to repeat the order taking any of 120 - 144 and putting it in the subsequent boxes.

So, Least number of boxes = 128 - 25 = 103.

120 - 144 -->25 numbers

Box 1-25, 26-50, 51-75, 76-100, 101-125, 126, 127 and 128
So total of 6 boxes, isn't it?? ( With same numbers )

btw We Missed You bro!! __/\__ :)
Welcome Back!! 😃 ..
120,121,....... 144 oranges in first 25 boxes
120,121,....... 144 Os in next 25 boxes
120,121,....... 144 Os in next 25 boxes
120,121,....... 144 Os in next 25 boxes
120,121,....... 144 Oranges in next 25 boxes
any number of oranges in 126,127,128.

clearly 5 boxes will contain equal number of oranges and will be minimum..

yaar kuch gadbad hai...
i can repeat (120-144) any number of times from 0 - 128.there is no compulsion that every number between 120-144 has to be used (much less the number of times a particular no is used.)
maximum 103 hoga
128 hoga
