x(n) = n/x(n - 1)

=> x(n)*x(n - 1) = n

=> x1*x2 = 2
x3*x4 = 4
x5*x6 = 6
x7*x8 = 8

So, x1x2x3x4x5x6x7x8 = 16*4! = 384

pls explain this one..
x1+x1+x3+4x4= 20 can be solved by letting x4= 0,1,2,3,4,5
when x4 = 0, x1+x2+x3+0= 20 which has 22C2 solutions
when x4 = 1, x1+x2+x3= 16 which has 18c2 solutions...
.
.
.
when x4 = 5 only one solution i.e.(0,0,0,5)
hence 22C2+18C2+14C2+10C2+6C2 + 2C2

x1*x2*...x8 wala..

Is it 384.??

@ScareCrow28 : I went on writing the terms and then multipying 'em. It took only 2 mins for that though, yet is there any other approach.?
@imrover said:
sir, could you please elaborate on your approach?
the no.shud be of the form of 648K. so d only no. divisible in dat range of 523000 to 523999 is somethin around 5235_ _.so dere can only b 1 no.

x1*x2 = 2
x3*x4 = 4 and so on... Answer in seconds

@chillfactor Sir ne b yahi kia h.. 😃
Maine b chill sir jaisa kia h 😛 :splat:
Solution:
To find : x1.x2.x3.x4.x5.x6.x7.x8
Given:
xn = n / x n-1 ;
x1 = 97->dump it.
we have,

xn = n/xn-1 or,

x.xn-1 = n.

so x2.x1 = 2, x4.x3= 4 , x6.x5=6, x8.x7=8

2.4.6.8= 384 OA

9,7,8 ka l.c.m se..the first no.divisible by 9,7,8 together is 648 so every no has to be multiple 0f 648
hope u get it!

CP = 360
SP = 0.8889*MP
Profit = 40

0.8889MP - 360 = 40
MP = 450 ?
@mohitjain arey 9,8,7 ka lcm would be 504.

btw, this way we are aonly considering the last three digits. the complete number is 523_ _ _. How can we conclude just by looking at the last three digits?
