Nahin 25 paise ka CP hai, uspe 1/8 add = 3.125 paise.

0.28 Rupees hoga.

theta/ (180-theta)It will not be acute from 0 to 90 - theta and again from 90 to 180-theta.regardsscrabbler
or cant it be taken as
for acute angle triangle the range is 0-90 (exclusive) so theta can be max=89
180-theta=91
For finding the range of x it can be between 0-90(both exclusive)
Subtract these two range values from so you get theta=89 which is in sync with our original max wala assumption. and denominator ka toh its obvious overall case lena hai toh it will be 180-theta

Totally unconventional and i think even illlogical. but works for me :P

Something which makes you go ewwww. Or, in maths, a dozen dozens i.e.144 of anything.

1 gross = dozen^2 or 144

36?
MY approach would be
Irrespective of where the point E lies consider AE+CE=diagonal and to eliminate two options this is very useful if you assume that square is a rectangle with equal sides and also the diagonals bisect each other. SO by the given condition of 180 degrees you can assume it to be a square . So you would get upper limit diagonal=9 area=81/2=40.5(area cant be more than this). Now by looking at the pattern area should be a multiple of 9. hence 36

steps please..:P @iLoveTorres

on selling tea at a rs 40 /kg a loss of 10% is incurred. Calculate the amount of tea in kg sold if the total loss incurred is rs 80.

18kg??

(CP-40)/CP = 0.10
=> CP = 400/9
let x kg be sold
(400/9 - 40)x = 80
40x = 720
x=18
