Ya u r right but SI main kabhi Principal change nai hota..and in this sum when he is repaying the amount u cant charge interest on what he has already paid ...practice little bit more and u will get it ...

lets assume its reducing balance...
let us take it 45.5 crore...
1st increase = 54.6 ..
balance after 1st installment = 33
2nd increase = 39.9
2nd balance = 18.3
3rd increase = 21.xx
data matches... so 45.5 ... (a) and (b)

45.50 cr ?

21.6 + 21.6*(1.2) + 21.6*(1.2)^2 = x*(1.2)^3
x = 45.50 cr
