If a,b,c are 3 non negative integers such that a+b+c=10, find the max value of ab+bc+ac+abc
This question has already been discussed....
I think yesterday.....
Maximum value is 69....
If not integers then 70.xx should be the maximum value....

keep them as close as possible....3+3+4
9+12+12+36 = 69...

if not integers, then -> 10/3+10/3+10/3
100/9 + 100/9 + 100/9 + 1000/27 = 70.37

How many zeroes are there at the end?a: 500b: 450c: 200d: 199Q3:X & Y are two natural no's such that X+Y=949. LCM of X & Y is 2628. What is the HCF of X & Y??a: 23b: 73c: 69d: noneAnswer along with approach is must

consider the case of (4,4,3,3,3) this satisfies the condition of product 216
How is the product 216..????
16*27 is def more than 270....

I was getting a^2/8
Side of sq = a/rt2
Radius = a/2rt2
So got an issoceles triangle with base = side of sq and height = half of the side of sq = radius

Let S be the sum of an arithmetic series. The arithmetic mean of every two consecutive terms and every three consecutive terms of S form the consecutive terms of series S1 and S2 respectively. If the sum of all the terms in series S1 and in series S2 are 1375 and 690 respectively, then find the sum of all the terms in series S.

2060
sum of 2 term series
(n-1)*(2a+(n-1)d)=2750
sum of 3 term series
(n-2)*(2a+(n-1)d)=1380
divide them
n comes out as 206/137
subtract the above two equations
2a+(n-1)d=1370
206*1370/137=2060
so 2060

suppose we have 3 real no.s x,y,z such that x^3=3y-2 ,y^3=3z-2 ,z^3=3x-2.Find the no. of triplets of(x,y,z) which exists?

r?? arre square is of side 1. all measurements are given.
pi calculate kar k post karo. btw what locus did u get?

actually the point P should form a triangle with any1 of the sides.. but the locus wil then be a circle or a larger square.. correct me if i am wrong

no, it wont form a triangle. i got a weird shape.
i'll post OA later after 9. Let others try. :)
