i dono if this s the answer.. but i have got a weird solution.. is the answer 10^(102/7)?
Lol. dn wry go on with your solution, 😃 i do not have OA.

log(2a) c = 4, log(5b) c = 12 and log(ab) c = 3/7. Find the value of c.
bro you forgot to complete the question. the completion part is "2a 5b and ab are Bases for log in the equations"

An analysis of 100 personal injury claims made upon a motor insurance company revealed that loss or injury in respect of an eye, an arm and a leg occurred in 30, 50 and 70 cases respectively. Claims involving the loss or injury to exactly two of these members numbered 44. How many claims involved loss or injury to all three? Assume that one or another of the three members was mentioned in each of the 100 claims.

sry my bad. i quote dose in bracket so as to represent the base. :-)

109/7Log10...

There r 6 members in family whose avg age is 25, after 4 yrs their avg age still remains 25 as a new baby born what is the age of the baby now??

plz solve this without taking x....

thanks in advance........

explain a bit, if feasible. :-)

Yes it is the OA. Could you explain it a bit here.

I broke it into parts..

Log 2 + loga= 4/c
Log 5+ log b=12/c
Log a +log b= 3/7c
Addthe first two equations
You will get log a "+ log b in terms of c
Ewuate with 2nd eqn...
Solvr for c
Sorry for yhe typinh...using my phone and in a bus...

sry bro, do not have any concrete method.
but saw this type of question quite a few back

it was simply the HCF of 100 & 120 that is 20.
so (2^100-1)(2^120 - 1) ----------> (2^20 - 1)
let some quant God to respond. he or she can give you much more valuable solution. :-)

(x1+x2+x3+x4+x5+x6)/6 = 25
(x1+x2+x3+x4+x5+x6) = 150
after 4 yrs, sum of their ages = 150 + 6*4 = 174
let the baby's age be x
=> {174+(x)}/7 = 25
=> 174+x = 175
hence x = 1 yr..

That bracket values represent the Base of Log.
@Logrhythm : without x solve karna tha :splat:

hahaha...srry yar dekha nahi..

let every member of the family be 25 years old at the start
sum of their ages = 150, and after 4 yrs -> 174
now what when added to 174 makes 25*7 (175)??
1 right...hence 1 is the age of that baby...

bhai bina x liye kara hai :p

Explain .
2 boys + 6 girls + 1 faculty member.
total no f sitting arrangements when Faculty member shud be in middle & 2 boys shud not sit together?

_ _ _ _ F _ _ _ _

Now either the two boys can be on the same side or on different sides.

If they are on different sides, 2 ways to put them there and 6C3 ways ways of putting 3 + 3 girls on each side. Then each side can be arranged in 4! ways. So 2 x 20 x 24 x 24 = 23040 ways

If on the same side, 2 ways to choose which side they are on. 6C2 ways of adding 2 girls to that side. 4! ways or arranging the other 4 girls on the other side. 2 x 3P2 ways of arranging the boys and girls on the first side (so that boys not together). So 2 x 15 x 24 x 2 x 6 = 8640 ways

Total = 31680 ways.

OR....if you don't want so much effort ;)

Total ways of arranging 8 kids = 8! = 40320. Out of that ways in which 2 boys together = 6 x 2 x 6! = 8640. Hence required answer = 40320 - 8640 = 31680 :P

65^43^54^12 is divided by 32. Remainder=?

After 4 years, each of the 6 people contributes +4 to the average. Hence +24 hua. For the average to remain same, the baby must contribute -24. So 25 - 24 = 1.

(Look ma, no x)
