Can anyone please suggest me some online or offline resource that can help me with special equations? I want to learn how to deal with m + n - mn = 0, or 1/x + 1y = 1/xy. Basically I want to learn how to deal with the questions that ask me to find out number of  solutions. As of now, I used hit and trial. This makes me bit uncertain about my answers. Ten members of an adventure club - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J - plan to go rock climbing this weekend.

It was decided two groups shall go to different places. Group Alpha and Group Beta are planned, each of which will have exactly 5 participants. A, C and I are doctors. A, B, E, H and J have prior rock climbing experience. It is decided that each group should have at least 1 doctor and 2 members with prior experience. Also B and G must be in different groups.

If Group Beta is going to a place that is risky for rock climbing and insists on taking only rock climbers with prior experience and two doctors then who amongst the following is definitely a part of Group Alpha?
