IIM I is taking HARD (really hard) on interviews & on the other hand, Kashipur is just chilling type interviews. So will it affect the chances of Indore WAT-PI takers (who are actually high scorers) ?

guys, i have filled my work experience in Cap process form exactly what it was filled in CAT form (i.e. till august 2015), But since, they are asking for the experience till jan2016, what shall i do now ?
Panel didn't check my certificates and neither kept the xerox copies of certificate with them. Is there anyone who face the same?? What to do now? We have to submit Xerox right?
I have submitted my form online, as well as the hard copy to the interview panelists.
Now I realize, I have filled in my fourth year GPA and percentage wrongly.

Wat Topic : We have done lots of scientific research in last two, three decades. Do you think we are capable of using those researches wisely in future for the benefit of mankind ?

P2 : So why do you want to leave it ?
Me : Already took cat twice, this was going to be my last attempt, hanging all my hopes on cat cat affect my performance, as it did last year, joined the college as a back up, took off the extra pressure in those 3 hours. My last degree, make it count (Satisfied)
P2 : I hear its a good college (he had no idea about the college actually) what is the scenario of placements there ?
Me : Not good sir.
P3 : So what happened to you in UG ?
Me : Sir, after preparing for JEE for two years, wanted to take a break, got involved in recreational activities, cricket, lan gaming. First 2 years passed, after that it became very difficult to increase the CGPA, as it is cumulative.
P3 : So you woke up after 2.5 years ? Even after that no improvement ? You are from an IIT, people are getting 90% in engineering ?
Me : Gave the same reason from last reply.. Not satisfied.
P3 : So the Job you had was on campus ?
Me : No sir, off campus.
P3 : You must not have been allowed to sit in the placements ?
Me : No sir, I was allowed, but did not convert any.
P3 : 70% might be the cut off for that.
Me : No sir, it varies from company to company 70, 60, 50 etc.
P3 : So you were saying you were involved in cricket ? did you play inter iit ?
Me : No sir, but I had my clan in counter strike for three yrs, played in college tech fest.

P1: You have got nice acads sumit. Okay, you have done b.tech in electrical and electronics, and you have also done m.tech from a very reputed college. In which stream sumit?

P1: ohh! I am from commerce background, so sir will ask you few questions.

P2: what is the difference between lever and switch?
Me: Replied with few examples.
P2: So, a tap in the bathroom is example of what?

P1: But, the crime data shows that crime rate has increased.
Me: Told that the national report on crime shows that the crime rate is actually more or less the same in last 10-15 years. Infact, bihar's crime rate is actually among one of the lowest in the country. Now, if i take a case of whole india, it will appear that there is a jungle raj in the whole country. I will therefore term it as a political glitch.

P2: suppose i want to become a placement coordinator, what will be your advice to me?

The interview panel was very cool and i felt they wanted to discuss different topics to assess your overall personality. The WAT process started at 9 o'clock and by 10 o'clock I was at home. I felt as if I was never at the interview. 😃
Hi When I am trying to submit the form, it's throwing a pop-up stating that 'PLEASE ENTER BACHELOR'S DEGREE FINAL YEAR INFORMATION' even after entering my 4th year marks and filled the 5th year with zeros. Please advise on what to do asap
Any TCS employee here? Company just updated notice period to 90 days, it's impossible to give notice before 90 days as results come only 1-2 months before joining, so any ideas?

Interview panel was very good and they took care of making candidate feel at ease. they were testing knowledge from different corners to know how well read interviewee is along with academics and also brought in analytical question to test the skills
When will IIM Kashipur move to its permanent campus??
