Guys I have interview today and my personal data form doesn't have my work experience details what do I do now
Is suit necessary for PI?what would be the best attire?
When will result of the WAT-PI be declared??
I had the WAT PI session on 19th Feb , In the personal data form, i filled up 2014 to 2014 instead of 2014 to 2015 for the third year section, I am in the final year of Engineering. I have submitted the form to the panelists without making the correction. Will this be a problem? What should i do now? please answer.
Sharing my WAT/PI experience..
I had my WAT and PI on 18th Feb, Forenoon Slot, Mumbai.
8.30am sharp the process starts so be there before 8.30.
We had faculty from IIM Trichy. They started with their introduction and explaining the entire process for the day. We were given our panels (Check the sequence in the list to find out when would be your PI) and the paper for WAT.
At 9 sharp our WAT started. Time Limit : 30 mins and Word limit : 300 words.
Topic : Employees are assessed and judged for appraisals by their superiors, shouldn't the subordinates be given the chance to assess the superiors. (I don't remember the actual wordings)
Once we were done with our WAT, we moved towards our respective Panel rooms. Panel consisted of 3 members. Two were IIM-T professors and one was external.
My PI questions:
Tell us something about yourself.
Tell us some things about your co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Tell us about a situation when you were managing something critical, faced with an issue and then messed up or came up with a good solution. What did you learn out of it?
Do you read anything? (I replied with newspaper)
What is the most pressing news presently? (I replied JNU and how media is hyping up the issue, how Modi govt is blamed up for everything)
What would had you done differently if you were the PM of the nation? (The discussion went on to more communication of the truths, twitter, social media etc etc)
Now that you are from Electronics background, Tell me what is the difference between Voltage and Current. and tell me their units. (I have done my engineering from Electronics and Telecommunications)
Any questions for the panel?
Some things i observed,
Panellists were patient and were ready to hear from you, no cutting off your answers, No stress interview. Just be calm.
None of my documents were asked for. They just took the print-out of the form we submitted.
Dress code: i was wearing a Tie and formals, 50-60% had a suit with them.
They said they would be declaring the results on 10th May.

P.S- questions varies from panel to panel. The next panel was asking technical and engineering maths question to guys with 3 years of experience

Attended WAT / PI for CAP 2016 on 19th feb , at mumbai, sharing my experience hope it helps the aspirants.
WAT topic : Its high time supreme court think over its decision on section 377 which criminalizes homosexuality , state your views.
Interview Panel : 3 Male.
time : afternoon.
WAT was conducted at 1330 hours time duration was 30 minutes.
Interview started on a light note.. since my name is in news dis days i was asked to express my views on "HARDIK PATEL" and how he got so famous?
the next question was on reservation policy and was again asked to express my view?
since i am working in shipping industry i was given a situation of on board grievance and was asked how would i react?
just 1 technical question based on electrical engineering related to transformer.
about LPG subsidy is it a good move?
explain your extra curricular activity?
and last question was " i have a product worth 50 rs, 10 rs is given to one of my friend since he found the buyer and the selling price was 70 rs. now what is the gross value and net value.
i answered all questions.
overall it was quiet lenient.
hoping for the best.
What is the las date for CAP application form?
guys.. I have won inter school singing competition.... where can i mention that in cap form?

I am working in a company (Government of Karnataka undertaking). Now I am still in probationary period and the authorities doesn't give my original mark sheets and reservation certificate. Tomorrow i ve new iims interview . What should I do?
For afternoon 12:30 PM slot, by when should we reach the interview center??
