IFMR's MBA program helps provide excellent management education offering 22 core and almost 55 elective courses in various disciplines. The various specializations offered at IFMR are: Finance: It provides an in-depth learning of the foundations of finance and then building on the perspective of the financial industries today preparing students to work as Analysts, Consultants and industry professionals. IT & Operations: Helps to familarize the students with the ways and methods associated with the subjects. The program also offers guidance on the usage of the real world tools to work with making it as realistic as possible. Human Resources: The specialization prepares students to find and successfully capitalize attractive opportunities in the corporate and banking sectors along with the other sectors. Marketing: Marketing specialization prepares the students for a career in the industry and with the markets by reinforced learning of the necessary skills and methods to excel in them. Quantitative Finance: The Quantitative Finance specialization prepares students for a career in Investment Banking, securities trading, modeling, risk management and applied research. Shortlisted candidates will have to go through two rounds: written ability test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

IFMR Chennai, is now IFMR Graduate School of Business at KREA University. IFMR GSB offers a two-year post-graduate Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree under the auspices of the KREA University. IFMR-GSB has opened application process for 2019-21.

IFMR follows unique admission process with its Early Decision Round (EDR) and General Round. Last date to apply for EDR is January 31, 2019 and the same for General round, it is February 15, 2019.
