Congrats for getting thru. From my experience last year, the management doesnt reveal upto what number the waitlist is cleared. The year before my joining, there was a rumour that the waitlist went upto 40, but then when i interacted with my batch i realized that there wasnt anyone beyond number 15 who had got through. I might be wrong and may have missed out on some people with higher waitlist numbers who got thru. Some people in waiting lists do not know their waitlist numbers even after one year.So it doesnt matter whether you are in waitlist or not, what is important is your waitlist number. If it is below 15, i should safely say that you are thru.

I am from Hyderabad and have personally seen ICFAI. I cleared IBSAT(big deal) but never went there for I was pissed of by ICFAI.
Head for GIM straight away without thinking twice.

I had a talk with shashi aka fabulist 2 day for bat 20-25 mns..must say that GIM have real cool people around.It was really nice n he made me understand y GIM wud be a better option than kjs/fore.
Must say besides great faculty n wunderful crowd..its 100% residential as well .Besides the fee structure is very cost effective say 2.5 k +6k for the placement week+3k-4k mnthly expenditure on food n clothes n booze n sutta etc.So the entire cost will be ard 3.25 L.
Besides theres very few colleges with 1:5 faculty:student ratio and abt 1:3 gals:guys ratio.Placement been decent enuf n best thing is its training n the kind of profile Companies come for during the placement is Mngmt Trainee n above.
Look its the matter of our future so lets b very sure which college we will be joining n above all y?.GIM have good people ard..great faculty...vibrant atmosphere However it might nt be the best place for the Operations/HR/or may b Finance(nt sre bat Finance tho). But it rocks for Marketing...Systems .
So guys lets chip in with more of relevant information say abt other colleges KJS/FORE/ICFAI ETC n kind of determine which is a better option n y.
Mumbai people can certainly help regarding kjsomaiya ..etc

Lol ! My only call...and I converted it. With 81.71, what else do you expect!
Dint apply for anything below LIBA....dint want a compromise. Anyways, no regrets
