For the record, I am a BE in CSE with an aggregate of 64.74%. No great academics at high school, XII - 62.7%, X - 77%. No work-ex either.
But I sure know why I got selected. Confidence is the name of the game. Period.

Hi,
The Job profile is variable .It Depends on the Work-ex of the candadite.I can tell you that Sectors like retail,IT,Banking ,Market Research Firms all come to GIM for marketing candadites.Most people without work-ex are employed on the post of management trainee.Marketing is the Forte of GIM so the highest median salary etc is more or less the same as the Overall Figures at GIM.
Marketing of IT products i.e. companies like TCS,WIPRO is the hottest field in marketing.THe best jobs and salaries came from this sector in 2004.
