The number of seats are not fixed through CMAT or XAT. Selection is done on the basis of merit and quality of student.
Just for your info, last year, 63 students got admitted through CMAT.. !!
it seems KJ simsr accepts CMAT score on par with CAT 2012 scores for PGDM and PGDM IB PGDM RETAIL AND PGDM FS .....although not sure ....guys confirm once it appears on official website

@bhuvaneshyoyo looks like its not the case. Todays ad in TOI says it accepts CAT & GMAT only for all PGDM programs. You can check the paper or wait till the same is updated in site.

Not all but most of the seats are reserved for Maharashtra candidates.... 15% are reserved for OMS ...

Top 4/5 colleges are very tough to get in Maharashtra.
GIM --> You do stand chance.
KJ-Som & Wellingkar PGDM --> You do have chance
@avinashkrjha so should i straight forward apply to the colleges...pls tell..m working and my current package is 3.6 lacks per anuum
