[Official] CAT 2013 Aspirants

@ajaygovindg thank you very much sir for the quick and succinct reply. Your comment has lifted a corner of the veil of depression and I can see a faint glimmer of hope. But i have a certain degree of distrust regarding the non iim b schools as far as placements are concerned. If i don't quit my job, then after 3 yrs I will draw a salary of about 50+ per month.Considering the current economic turmoils, will these B schools be able to provide placements that will be good enough so that I wont regret quitting my job by then?
@cool.aspirant : I have enquired both in TIME / VM and have made a couple of analysis . Felt that VistaMind is better , so I have Opted for it . If possible do pick weekdays classes , since weekends will like of Overdosage. I ll share about my VistaMind experience after a week since I am new too .

Welcome to the club of distrust! :mg:

Jokes apart dude, the institutes I mentioned XLRI, IIFT, MDI etc. are very reputed institutes and considered at par with IIMs and feature in certain rankings above some of the old IIMs also!! Not that I'm asking you to go by those rankings as each has their own methodology, but then in many aspects they are more or less same as IIMs.

Guys how gud is Byjus? Which would be the best coaching center to join in bangalore. If you can tell any specific branch or specific teachers, that would be great.

hellow friends......i am in some dilemma regarding how to go ahead with my career.
i am graduate in engineering and have been working in a steel company for last 1.5 years.
now i want to go ahead and join an MBA college. CAT 2012 was my first attempt and got a not so good score of 87.
Now I have two roads. Either leave the company and start preparing solely for MBA entrance or stick with the company and prepare side by side. For the 2nd option I have to study of my own as there are no coaching institute nearby. But on the other hand i will get a good work experience back up.
Now I dont know if the work experience atall will help me in anyway to a get a good college or its not that much important. I feel that if I leave the company and prepare solely for MBA I could get a better percentile.
I have another option that of staying till july to get a 2 yr complete work xp and then leave and prepare for myself. But I shall be left with only three moths to prepare.
Now I hope you could understand my problem. Kindly suggest what you feel. It will be of grt help.

@shattereddream
Thankyou!
Can you also provide me the link for verbal/DI-LR :D

@prit111 Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on your effort.87% ile is not at all bad.And regarding the dilemma,I would say that being an engg.(Core as what I could infer from your comment), it will take you hardly 3 months to prepare thoroughly for CAT 2013.So, go ahead and complete your 2year term at your company.In that way, You'll also have an advantage like Great Lakes will consider you for their pgpm course etc.
