Sir , what is the 'equivalent score' in cat for getting into nmims through nmat? I mean suppose one gets 95% in cat, does he have a chance of cracking nmat considering equal performance in both cat and nmat.Also if you can tell about XAT also....The problem is I am getting ~95% in aimcats and expect the same in CAT. So should I fill forms of nmat and xat or not ??Thnx in advance.
@Mukund_Dev You are pretty good in your AIMCATs if you are consistently scoring in the high 90s. NMAT and SNAP are slightly different from CAT. XAT is different from all other exams. And yes you can take your AIMCAT scores as the benchmark, so if you are scoring good here then sure you could fill NMAT and XAT too.
Just keep up the confidence, dont panic(thats most important), because you might have a bad day on your CAT day but you have to stay put for other exams which are totally independent from what you did in CAT. All the best!!!
@naddy65 CAT is the only national level exam where you can score more than 95%ile just on the back of preparation of 3 months:). So just go for it!! All the best.!!
muchhi.. :). Well obviously am assuming that one knows the basics of Maths and English. Because Verbal Ability exam is something where your knowledge that you have gathered in all these years will come in handy.
If you had not taken your English seriously in your school days then you will find it tough. Then even a year wont be enough!! All the best!!!

@KaushikBandopadhyay Am not very sure about the exact cutoff but i made it to BIM for 2 years on the trot in 2011 and 2012 and my percentile was 91.97 and 92.95 respectively(didnt join ultimately). May be you will get an idea from this.

I wanted to know if anyone has any idea about the conversion of CGPA to percentage for IIT Roorkee.
Also for 10th and 12th marks, do the marks of all the subjects need to be used while calculating the percentage coz it's not the case while calculating the % in ICSE/ISC board(best of 5 criteria). Please enlighten me 😃

@smaily you have a decent profile. Quite similar to my profile. You have not mentioned your work ex. But still it is good enough to get into good B Schools if you work hard. Nothing can stop you. Just For Your Information(FYI) am right now doing PGDHRM from IMI Delhi. And in the past have cleared many B Schools with my profile which is quite similar to yours(But yes i had some work ex). So even you can make it.

2 years of work experience...
in the 5 of the TIME aimcats, i've been getting more than 95 percentile everytime...10 of them are still remaining...
what is the percentile i should obtain to get a call from IIM-A,B,C,I,L ?
do i stand any chance for the top 5 IIMs?
