hello everyone..I am already taking mock tests of CL..which other test perp do u guys think would be helpful for the preparation for CAT 2013 ??

hi guys.. newbie here with a doubt.. i just finished my 8th sem(B.E)..preparing for cat this yr.. bt i got an arrear , which i ll hopefully clear by december.. Knowing CAT exam schedule ends before november, will i be eligible to attempt CAT or if at all i clear, will i be given admission??. pl help..tnx in advance

yes u are eligible ...i also had an arrear and gave cat in 2009....also got selected in UBS chandigarh ,,,so i think u are eligible too.

u will not be eligible for collesges which require atleast 60% in graduation...but u can try for colleges which require 50 % ...man i can feel ur pain even i have low percentages in academics (averaging around 65) but u shouldnt get ur hopes up bcoz even if u get around 98 %ile cracking top 15 will be quite impossible....but u can make it through an average b school and work hard for the duration of mba to get good placement. but do a thorough research of eligibility criteria for each b school before filling the form

Ok guys Iam totally unprepared, I just randomly checked out 05, 06 & 07 papers of CAT, and found that I was barely able to do only 1 or 2 questions from the whole question paper.

I underestimated the verbal section, it turned out to be the most confusing one.

Quants , I don't know what to do, iam a non maths student.. Is it usual? o.O

muje nahi lagta cat meri bass ki hai seriously muje verbals se bohot umeed thii and it was horrifying that mein harr ek question mein atakta raha, talk about passages, every answer seemed correct

I am a CAT 2013 Aspirant this is my 1st attempt and have joined BYJU's Classes in Bengaluru. I hav got all d study material bt i doubt whether its enough r nt. And m also in a dilemma about there test series should i join TIMES test series and also get TIMES Study material r BYJU's materials & test series r enough. I have Arun Sharma & Quantum CAT fr Quant what i shud buy fr DI , LR & verbal. Please help. Even m nt able to plan my preparation in a proper manner.😟

I've scored the following:

10th: 59.285 %

12th: 57 %

BE: 69%

Work Experience: No

How much should i aim in CAT to bag top 5 IIMs ?

I'm preparing for CAT 2013. I have 10th:89%, 12th:75% and B.E.: 66%. Have work experience of just 3 months. If I get a decent percentile (enough to get into IIMs), will my graduation % or 12th % be a hindrance? Please reply, I'm confused.

hii guys..my situation is that i have appeared for cat last year and scored 88.6 percentile. Planning to appear again and start the preparations. Should i enroll myself for the classes again? Or just purchase the test series of cl or time? Besides this, i have last years cl material and will buy arun sharma now.

Dont wish to spend again on the classes

. But then who is going to clear my doubts. This is going to be my second and last year to try for cat. Please let me know if classes are really important. Economics student, Gen category, Delhi

If you get 60% marks, 270/450. what will be the equivalent percentile roughly ? other way round, how much score is equivalent to 99+?

Hello dear puyz nd pirlz..
Firstly I belong to NC-OBC category..
Secondly I have >90 in my 10th nd 12th..
But thirdly I have arnd 75 only in my B.E.. And am jus a fresher only..

So I would like to know more accurately that wat oa nd sectional percentile or more in cat'13 will fetch me calls from cream ones like A,B,C,L,S,K,I,FMS ...
