I have 6.11 CGPA in my graduation . I asked my college for multiplying factor and they issued me this certificate. Please let me know if they mean that our college has multiplying factor as 10 or they are just saying that in general.
Conversion from CGPA to percentage of marks does not have any rigor or rationale. However, an approximate and indicative equivalence between CGPA and percentage of marks can be assessed by multiplying CGPA by 10.
It may kindly be noted that university observes CGPA system for measuring the academic performance of students.

Hello Puys....With only 5 months left to cat (assuming i take the last days' slots) would it be possible to bell the cat with an excellent score? I have just started with the preparations and this would be my 1st attempt. I need to crack this at any cost. I am weak in quant. Also, i have quit my job because it was a pathetic one. Now, it would be possible for me to devote every bit of time that i have for cat preparation.
