Hi Puys, really confused about joining a test series in bangalore between CL and TIME. Also need the online sectional tests. From my past experience I found that online Sectional tests in CL are better than TIME. Which one is better and which one should be joined?

i sat for Cat 2012 . got 97.16%tile . right now i am waitlisted at IMT , IIT-M and the new iims results are yet to release
considering i dont get selected into any of the colleges and i sit for CAT 13 , what are my chances of getting calls from older IIMs

P.S - i dont dream of A,B . and S won't be calling at this years criteria .
any suggestions guys ?

i have read somehwhere that the iim's consider the marks of all d subjects of graduation . is it true ?? actually i am studying in patna university and they calculate the percentage only on honours subject and not on subsidiary subjects . My acads r decent i scored 88.5 in 10th and 89.3% in 12th but m worried about my graduationscore bcoz if the iim's would consider the marks of all subjects den my total percentage will get less than 65% and i will loose my chance of getting into iim . pls reply guys 😞 p.s. m a b.com student obc category m very depressed guys need some motivation

Hi, Im a girl+reserve category & CAT 2013 aspirant.m from a financially backward family.MBA is my dream so will have to invest 14-15lakhs to 17lakhs considering interest. I've heard that placement reports r poor in new iims & even in top iims.So what do these unplaced guys do? Can they get a decent job from naukri/monster/other sources? It will be a big big trouble for me if i don't get a job(Im sounding low confidence coz my profile & comm skills are average )!! So want to know what r the other options after completing mba to get a decent job?& how much will an IIM tag help me?

hi guys,
i am working in a PSU & having a work exp. of 4 years. I am planning for CAT 13. by the time, if i get decent score in cat, i get into any iim next year i will have 4.5 years of work exp.
I have heard that work exp. of more than 3 years dont get priority during campus placements...
Is it true...
please advise..

Guys, which score is considered for admissions for IIM's for engineering graduates?



I am from University of Pune. The degree which we receive has only final year marks which in my case is 65 % . However,my aggregate of all semesters is around 58.3 . UoP does not consider the aggregate and the BE degree is awarded based on final 2 semester marks. Same is the case with Mumbai University.pls tell me which score should i consider for admissions? the score on which the university has awarded the degree or the aggregate percentage.



For ex. for FMS the eligibilty criteria is



Medicine, Engineering or Technology – 60% / CGPA of at least 6 on a scale of 10



Am i eligible or not?



Aggregate score of your graduation is considered in most of the top colleges irrespective of what your University mentions on degree. Getting calls from IIMs would be very difficult if you are from general category as your grad score is too low. You might get IIMC call if you have 81%+ in 10th and 12th with 99.7%ile+ in CAT.
You may target top colleges other than IIMs like XLRI, MDI, JBIMS, SIBM, NMIMS, IMT, etc.
