Hi all , need some clarification...I am presently in my last sem at college and planning to give cat 2013 . The company I got placed in has asked me to report from Aug 2013. That would mean a work ex of 7-8 months by the time I go for GDPI...wil that work ex count? or theres no difference between me and a fresher?

HI Puys, I have around 4 years of experience in IT sector and by the time i make it to B School it will be around 5 years (provided i get admimission this year itself).Cosidering this, Plz suggest which course and from which institute would be best suited for experienced guy like me. Should in concentrate on CAT, XAT etc or should i divert my attention to GMAT.

Hey Guys .... I am working in Bangalore and I need some suggestions for joining a coaching class. Quant isn't an issue and I want one where the coaching for VA is better.
Some of my friends suggested Byju but I heard that the VA isn't good over there although the quant is fab.
Suggest me if I shud join Byju, Time or CL .....

I will have 2 year of experience in Feb, 2014. I wanted to pursue MBA from reputed college without leaving my job. I guess Executive MBA might be the choice for me. But the most of the colleges require alteast 5 yrs of exp.

A lot of students with poor acads are not sure regarding CAT as most of the IIMs have academic criteria. But you need to go ahead and study for CAT instead of worrying about your past. I have known students with poor acads and would not have made it to IIMs have made it to top institutes like XLRI, JBIMS, MDI, NITIE, etc. (there are students who also have drops due to poor academics). So focus on your CAT preparation. If you do well in the exam and do well in GDPI you will get into a good college, no matter what your past acads have been.

I am a working professional and have given CAT this year.Got 90.xx % 98(QA) 55(OA).
Till now I haven't joined any coaching but this year I want to give a serious attempt and hence wanted to join coaching class.
I am confused between CL and TIME CP center.As both of these coaching CP center are famous I am concerned regarding the way the coaching is conducted at two centers.
CL will be conducting 71 sessions(2 hour each) in total for concept clearance and application.This excludes GDPI sessions.
TIME will be conducting SIX 2 hour session at weekend till SEPTEMBER.Hence approximately 120+ sessions(2 hour each) for concept clearance and application.
Request seniors @nits2811 @visionIIM-ACL suggestions for joining the coaching.I have weak VA hence VA is my priority.
