So let me see if I have got this correct:

For a GEM candidate, even if you score 100%ile, you still have to get 29 out of 30 for WAT-PI to get into this institute? (Adcoms- Do you mind justifying this also with some lame excuse just as you had justified all the shortcomings pointed out throughout the admission process?)

If the composite score of last rank in general category was 78, imagine how low it would have been for other categories. Now subtract 20 from that score to reduce the diversity marks.

Now imagine the batch quality.

Apparently some people texted me how much diversity plays against GEM in Rohtak. So here's the thing:- Acc to a RTI reply by Rohtak, General candidate needed a minimum Composite Score of 78.93/100 to secure a seat last year. Provided diversity is 20 out of 100, GEM was required to get min. 78.93/80 to convert. Even after a 100 percentile in CAT (50/50 in CAT component), GEM needs an out of this world interview to convert IIM Rohtak. Also, given that they have not reduced diversity component this year, there seems to be no point for a GEM to apply to IIM Rohtak.
