Can anyone please state what is meant by a good profile as far as SPJ is concerned?!
Thanks in advance!
@NKL17SPJIMR considers several factors such as academics, work experience, relevance of work ex, CAT, versatility and other profile information. CAT/XAT cutoff is 85%.
i have paid the form fees by cash at one of the ims centres but they gave me only student copy of the receipt .. wasn't i supposed to get the spjain copy of the receipt and send it to spjain like in xat nmat ???
@an96 you basically need to use the number on this receipt and fill it under the payment tab in the admissions portal link
@DeeBee1 in the cgpa coloums i have written the individual semester gpa's of each semester ... was i supposed to fill in the cumulative weighted gpa till each semester rather ???? i have submitted the form ..will it be a problem or should i try to unlock the form and give the weighted gpa's till each semster
Hi, am really confused as to what to mention in adversity faced column under family and personal tabs..aren't the both supposed to mean the same. Also what could be an example of responsibility shouldered under the personal tab!

Adversities faced can be same in both the tabs, that is not an issue.
Personal adversity might include something related to work domain, any issues or problems faced in work place and how ere you able to cope up with it.
Responsibility shouldered could include leading a football team or starting an organization and the likes
@The.Red.Devil While I've applied for CAT'13 under the General Category, I've submitted my application for SP Jain's PGDM as an OBC candidate and have the certificate to validate it. Would there be any issue I'd face due to this mismatch in category?
Hey, Can someone tell me that whether CAT and Academic Score plays a major result for admission in this course or they also give some importance to the profile ?

They do play an important role in profile selections.
I am filling the registration form of SP Jain. They are asking for the year wise marks in graduation. I have completed BSc Hons. Am I suppose to mention the marks of only my hons subject or the total marks of the hons as well as the pass subjects? Please reply asap!!! I am already late for registrations...😟

I'm an engineer, have work exp. of 2 years in core industry (production sector). After 2 years I quit this job and currently co-own a retail shop. So while selecting the specialisation, I'm in a fix between Operation and Marketing/Finance. Since I have 2 years work exp. in production sector, I was thinking to opt for Operation. But then as per my current profession even Marketing/Finance seems fine (more inclined towards Marketing though). Can you please guide me on this regard?
On a second note, what document do I need to show for my work exp. in retail shop? (I have the ownership agreement with other co-owner. Will that suffice?)
Hi @The.Red.Devil , @DeeBee1 , I had some queries.. Do the five activities need to be from different areas of interest, for example i have been a core committee member of both the technical and cultural events of my colg during different years, engaged in different sort of work but both are a part of event management/organiser..so should they be present as different activities or as a similar activity?
Also, I was a state level participant in a science competition at school level..wud it help me in mentioning it.."Can a educational achievement be a factor in versatility"?

@harshad_mmba the decision to show it as one or two activities is totally upto you. If you feel that the skills picked up from both the events are different, then do mention them separately.
Yes, excelling in educational activities does fall under versatility.
