Guys I have state nc obc certificate as of now and I have applied for central nc obc certificate but it will take few days to be made. And my caste comes in obc in centre. So my question is that can I upload state obc certificate now and can show centre obc certificate when needed?
What are the authorities from which we can get the NC-OBC template printout signed and attested from? Apart from District Magistrate and Dy Commissioner.
My NC-OBC template printout is signed but the authority has not mentioned Resolution number in the form.Is it fyn to upload that template or is it mandatory to have resolution number on it.
I am applying for CAT 2015, and facing problem regarding NC OBC certificate. I have nc obc certificate.. which was issued on 24 September 2013 and its written on it that it is valid for the period upto 31 March 2016. Is it fine if I upload the scan copy of it or I will have to download NC OBC format from the iim site and upload it with signature of authorities.revert back asap.
Thank you
Hello ,have anyone of you uploaded the receipt for OBC NCL certificate.Does it work? My proposed delievery of the certificate in the receipt is next week .So can we upload the receipt for now?I saw one post approving the same.
Can anyone help me with the OBC certificate that has to be attached ? Do we have to need to specifically attest it by the DM? or Tehsildar ? Or self Attest will do ?
Please respond as quick as possible ?
I'm from Gujarat. I have my NC OBC certificate in Gujarati and I guess my certificate in English would take time. Can I upload the scanned copy of my Gujarati certificate? Will it work?
hi,
I was not able to get renewed OBC certificate. Can i upload old certificate for now and provide renewed certificate later ?
I saw that there's an income cap for NC-OBC and SC/ST in TISS reservations. In the case of OBC candidates, it's 1 lakh. But the income caps for NC-OBCs is 6 lakhs now and does it mean that TISS has separate nomenclature for reserved categories? I'm an NC-OBC candidate with income slightly above 1 lakh. Does it mean that I'm not eligible for the NC-OBC quoata?
Hi All,
My nc obc certificate is duly attested by competent authorities. But does not have the resolution no mentioned in it.
Is it ok to upload this for now? Can I fill in the resolution no and get attested again and use that in case it is required in further processes.
Or are there possibilities of the application being rejected or anything like that?
Is NC OBC certificate(in English) issued by government is sufficient to apply for cat or should I also download the format from the website and upload both?please, revert asap.

I had graduated in 2014 and have no work-ex. What sort of colleges should I target? How should I justify the 2 year gap? In those two years I was preparing for competitive exams like GATE, civil services preliminary etc.
My profile is 10th-90%, 12th- 81%, graduation(B.tech)- 69%, category- OBC-NCL.
I gave CAT last year and scored around 90 percentile.
Please let me know what would be the minimum cat percentile required to get a call /convert from any IIM (including IITs)?
10th : 97.6%
12th: 96.33%
B.E: 9.64 CGPA
NC OBC
16 months of relevant work exp
Extra curricular includes an ieee research paper and runner up in an Intra University level sports event (major achievements)
Please some one give me a suggestion, my acads as follows

I'm worrying about my low grad score. Do I stand chances for new IIMs and IITs and how much percentile should I get for the calls?
