Hey guys, I have one serious query regarding my 12th board result, I got 63%(cbse) in 12th. again next yr i hv written improvement for three papers(Phys, chem, maths) and increased my overall % to 76. But the problem is that which one will i take. the first one or the last one with increased overall %? Please help me out guys. thanks

I am doing b tech 4th year. My 10th was 10/10 CGPA, 12th 86%. B tech is 80.4% for now 1st attempt, so obviously no work experience. What %ile should I target for IIM A,B,C or FMS?
Guys my obc certi was issued in 2008 and i renewed its recently(a month ago) and now Team iift admission is telling they wont consider renewed one as it was issued after 3rd september..

I am from obc category.. I had sbi interview in sbi learning center panchkula(Chandigarh panel 2) on 10 Sept 2015 11am slot..
I am from Kerala but born and brought up in Punjab..I have a home in Kerala..so I got my obc certificate from Kerala.. I had submitted the certi for iim interview earlier and few other psu but no one has ever questioned the certi as I belong from non creamy layer and the certi from valid authority..
But in the sbi interview thedocument verification was a bit strange.. The person sitting for verification acted in a very bad way..1st I showed by graduation certificate from my clg the person said "yahan toh shifarishi paste hai,means tum toh nalayak ho" ..I just smiled and didn't comment.. Next I showed my post grad certi he said " acha MBA b ki h " again I didn't say anything just smiled n said yes sir..then he said u live in #phase I said yes sir..then he said " hum toh firte(roaming around) in #phase dikha toh h nai kabhi tu,rehta b h ki jhoot bolra h" I was a bit amazed I said have been living for past 25yrs n smiled and showed my voters card..then he saw my obc certificate n said ceramly layer h tumara..I said no sir...then he saw the certi n said " tum Kerala ke ho yahan ni chalega yeh certi" I said sir " its the same format mentioned n being from Kerala I have certi issued by competent authority of Kerala " then
He said " itna new q h dated 3/9/15"
I said " sir coz its mentioned that the certi shud bof or after 1/4/15 so I had an old one so had to get a new one"
Then he said " itni jaldi mil b gya"
I said yes sir my father went to Kerala and we requested for it so jaldi banvaya.
The he said " you have done your 10th in Punjab u r domiciled in Punjab how can u get certi from Kerala "
I said " I'm from Kerala my father is from Kerala my mother is from Kerala.. I have home in Kerala.. Coz 9years back I was putting up der for my MBBS prep I got my certi made there as my father's certi obc is from Kerala on that basis I got a certi and my family income was non creamy so I got ncl-obc certi at that tym.."
He said " u ppl are very clever"
I was amazed
Then he asked for character certi I had 1 from my last attended clg 2nd was from a branch manager of sbi who lives in the next house to mine..
After looking at the cert from branch head he said this won't work how can he sign n moreover he is from a bassi paltana ( village in Punjab) how can heknw ueu..
I told him that the person is my neighbor.. He again mocked me ..no branch head can sign..u have to bring one from gazaated offcr..I had to give an undertaking for it ...
Then he told me to get two documents photocopied ..
I went downstairs to get it done..when I came he was standing with the head of doc verification process and he said to doc verification head is bande ka jali h..iska Rafa daffa karo jaldi(the doc are fake..get done with him.)
The head said let me talk to LHO..by the time you complete the process.
I said to the checker sir sbi is central I'm from Kerala n my caste is in central list of obc n I'm non creamy also..he replied" bank koi central nai hota h(there is nothing central in bank)
I smiled Sir the whole process is centralcentrally done n the bank is owned by govt of India how can it be not central..
He said tumhe zada pta h?(means u knw more)
He said yeh south India wale(these ppl from south India)
Tum log yahan pe b benifit lo wahan pe b lo(u ppl take benifit here(Punjab)and also there(kerla))
I again replied sir bank is central n I can't take any state govt benifit from Punjab ..all I'm taking if from central govt.
he head came n both of them said tumne 10th Punjab m ki h Punjabka certi laao(u have done 10th in Punjab u have to brng certi from Punjab)
I said my caste is in the central list of Kerala and only Authority from Kerala can give a certi of obc ..
They said no no yesterday we had a girl who was from andra pradesh woh sahddi ke baad she shifted to Punjab..woh toh lai thi Punjab ka..usne toh apna purana deposit karake new Punjab se lia(yesterday a girl came for interview she was from andhra and she was married in Punjab so she deposted her old andhara certi in Punjab and got new made in Punjab)
I said a person can get obc certi only from one state..of its made once it cannot be made from any other state..
They insisted no you are wrong..
Then the head called up Mumbai n told them his version of story..
He came back and said get thecerti made from Punjab and come after two days for interview..
I was amazed II requested I can't get it made from Punjab as my caste is not in obc list of Punjab and Punjab ppl can't gv me certi..
I said pls don't spolid my chance on this reason..the certi would go for verification after result n the Kerala administration would say certi is correct pls don't spoil my career.. After begging for 1 hour they yielded ..they called Mumbai and came back n said gv a undertaking that ull submit the certi from state of domicile after selection..I signed it..
I was physically n mentally tormented..
Still have my best in gdpi
I had good written exam had 135marks out of 250
Im not selected in sbi,even after having a gr8gd pi.
I'm really depressed now and really am not able to do anything.
Had my ssc today my level 1 score was gud but I'm so mentally tormented that could not do any question in tier2
Guys I need your help what should I do to the people who were involved in doc verification in sbi?should I put a harassment case against them? So I wite aa mail to pmo to ask them to get a notification that ppl sitting in doc verification should have strng hand in law of the land? Should I write to NCBC or DoPT to inform them abt this incident so that no other person goes thru this kind of problem..

hey in my nc obc certificate my signature is not verified and it is shown with a question mark so whether it will be accepted by the cat officials or i have to make my signature verified which shows a tick at the left downward corner instead of question mark
Can anyone please share the minimum percentiles for various B schools for OBC candidates (actual calls and converts, not the cutoff specified by b-schools). TIA.

Hello, I have 7.79 pointer in Btech from an NIT. I have NC-OBC category. Female Can you please confirm if I am eligible for IIM A/B/C/L/I/K with or without the category! In IIM A shortlisting criteria I had seen 78% has min cutoff . How much minimum %ile in CAT should I be having for getting call from A,B,C ? This is important to add to my confidence ...I am scoring low in mocks but hope to improve. Thanks in advance !
