I just need a clarification regarding the NC-OBC eligibility criteria

The wiki says, and I know wiki is far from being a reliable source,

"The children of persons engaged in trade, industry and professions such as a doctor, lawyer, chartered accountant, income tax consultant, financial or management consultant, dental surgeon, engineer, architect, computer specialist, film artists and other film professional, author, playwright, sports person, sports professional, media professional or any other vocations of like status whose annual income is more than ₹ 6,00,000 for a period of three consecutive years. OBC children belonging to any family that earns a total gross annual income (from sources other than salary and agricultural land) of ₹6,00,000 for a period of three consecutive years, as the income ceiling for the creamy layer raised from

₹1,00,000 (in 1993 when the office memo was accepted) to

₹6,00,000(for a period of three consecutive years) in May 2013, belong to the creamy layer and so are also excluded from being categorised as "socially and educationally backward" regardless of their social/educational backwardness.

Is this true? Or Is it that sources from salary and agricultural land will not be clubbed and if any of them is above the limit i.e., 6lpa for 3 consecutive years, he/she is not eligible for NC OBC?

Can someone please clarify?

Hi, I have NC-OBC Certificate of 2013 with income mentioned. Can I upload it or should I get a new one for 2015?

Help desk told me to check the validity of 2013 certificate and upload it. Whereas I cannot see any validity date written on it.

Moreover, since it is written in Hindi the mentioned names are prefixed with Ku. Ashna,Shree Jyot, Shreemati Jyoti. Will this be accepted?

And if I get the 2015 format form signed froom Tahsildar, will it be valid for registration?

Are Rajasthan JATS(except Bharatpur and Dholpur)still under central OBC or not?

So, that I can go and complete the formalities as well.

Guys I have an nC obc ceft from karnataka state dated 2006... But I am a resident of Maharashtra. Can anyone please guide me how to get a central ceft??

Hi,

The certificate which is to be uploaded for NC-OBC, is it required that it should be issued in 2015 itself? I have got NC-OBC certificate issued in 2010 will it work? Will it be okay if I upload this certificate for now and get new certificate issued in 2015 at the time of interview/admission? Thanks in advance.

I contacted cat authorities about obc certificate uploading and they never emphasised on recent thing of obc, here is the email converstion:

I was filling up the NMAT form, In selection of caste they had mentioned OBC and not NC-OBC. Can people belonging to creamy layer-OBC apply for NMAT,IIFT?

There are two types of certificate for obc being issue by the government of bihar

The one which I have is form 4 issued by B.D.O. 

The one which I have presently only states that I belong to OBC.

No where is it writtenwritten about the nc layer.

Will this be valid for cat?

Or do I have to make the one which says about nc layer.

Has anyone from Up got the latest NC-OBC certificate? If yes, can anyone tell if in the certificate there's a column which clearly mentions ''govt. of India's resolution No. by which your caste has been included in the central list of OBC's '' .

Hi if one's father is a govt employee and has salary greater than 6 LPA will that person be OBC NCL.....

also the father is not a class I,II recruit..
