M1: Sunny, tell me something about yourself?
- Gave a complete answer which comprises of skills and led that answer to how I want to become an entrepreneur later on, based on the skill-set I have. Almost a minute long answer which was heard carefully by the panels.
F1: So where are you based currently?
- Working with TCS, Chennai Mam!
F1: So 2.5 years you have been with TCS?
- Yes Mam.
F1: So where is the headquarters of TATA? And what is it called?
- Bombay House, in Bombay.
F1: Where in Bombay?
- Fort, Bombay.
F1: Okay Sunny, Now Sir will give an extempore topic.
M1 gets up and leaves!
M2 was going through my semester mark-sheets and gave me a topic from my engineering subjects: Metrology.
I was taken aback. Mam sensed and offered me a change.
F1: New topic is Wheel.
Spoke well and in between Mam blinked , and I took it as a signal to Stop.
F1: Go on! still 20 more seconds.
I continued and finished off with a conclusion. Gave almost 5 different perspectives to it.
M2: you did not re-invent the wheel?Â
- I was surprised a bit as I think I did connect wheel with how life moves on.Â
Should have done better, I think i will manage a mere 3.5Â : disappointed:
M2: So you did Industrial and Production engineering. how much of it do you use at your work?
- Instead of answering in just a NO, I used it as an opportunity to explain my Work!
Told them that as a Business Analyst all I require is my communication and convincing skills. How I act as  abridge between the client and a team of almost 50 developers and testers. Almost another 1 minute long answer here.
M2: So what tools do you use for your work?
- There are two tools, which I again explained them properly. Again took almost a minute here.
M3: So, what is happening in Yemen?
- I thought he wanted to know more about operation Rahat and started with that...Â
But then,
M3: What is happening in Yemen?
- This time I started from the beginning of the civil war; stated about shias and sunnis strife; how the president flee from the country; Sana being bombed; innocents getting killed; and finally ended with Operation Rahat.
M3: Okay Sunny, Thank you!
- Thank you Sir! Thank you Mam!
My analysis: Looks like it was my first and last day at FMS. Not hoping for anything now!

he guys (particularly obc candidates who have converted fms) why are not you people updating the tracker.I mean it can help many wait list candidates. I havr seen other people have maintained a very good tracker so they are getting a real picture of wait list moment But we are not doing anything.cmon update the tracker and help others!thanks!
I m a obc candidate(jat), I was also looking forward to join DFS, mba hr and ib, delhi university. New IIMs, K but all is gone now. Thankfully I also applied to other colleges(private). Converted IMTG, TAPMI, NMBang and have good chances for KJ-IB course, and will settle for one of them.

Kudos to the ones who made it to the top IIM's (A/B/C) whose results were declared in the last few weeks.
From among those who have already decided to skip this PGDBA program and go ahead with the PGPM instead, I thought may be you folks can do some good for the others who couldn't make it anywhere else and are actually looking forward to the PGDBA course.
Having one of the top percentiles its pretty sure that most of you will receive an interview call which can otherwise turn out to be actual life changer for the others.
Don't intend to hurt anyone's sentiments, if the selected students can "drop a mail to the ad-com of PGDBA stating their withdrawal from further application process" it would certainly be of real help.
Trust me an interview call for the ones who are actually looking forward to the PGDBA course can be life changer opportunity.Â
