do we have to self attest the obc certificate . sign it by ourselves before scanning and uploading ??
Hello guys, I have the nc-obc certificate issued by the mro . Can't we upload it in the cat app form?...Is it mandatory that the nc-obc certificate on the cat website is to be uploaded with proper attestations?

.2. Can't a junior civil judge of high court ( magistrate cadre but on the seal junior civil judge appears) on the certificate instead of district magistrate or dy commissioner.??
3. Before partition of the state , I belonged to A.P and now Telangana. The Telangana region doesn't have castes or serial list uploaded, while in A.P my caste is present .So shall I mention the one in A.P.???...Or if anyone finds the caste list of Telangana in the central list of obcs , plz post the link.....ty...:)

Hello Everyone, I need to ask which colleges provide OBC quotas xcept IIMs?
Is it necessary to have a certificate specifically for IIMs? I mean, I have a certificate that reads "APPLYING FOR APPOINTMENT TO POSTS UNDER GOVERNMENT OF INDIA" rather than "APPLYING FOR ADMISSION TO INDIAN INSTITUTES OF MANAGEMENT". It is only 2 months old and has been signed by tehsildar. Is it valid or will I have to make a new certificate?
What do we have to enter as caste/tribe serial number? I have downloaded the PDF for Maharashtra state. But there are 2-3 numbers against my caste. Exactly which number do we have to enter?

The guys in the cat helpline say that Tahsildar sign will do for the nc-obc certificate. Can anybody confirm? Only district magistrate and deputy commissioner have been mentioned as signing authority in the nc-obc certificate.

I have a 2011 nc-obc certificate. I called on the helpline number, they told me that you can upload the old certificate but get a new 1 at the time of interview.
But, when i called on the other number provided on the website
0731-2439688 they said that the old 1 wont work. Upload a recent 1.
What should i do know?
